The Jade Reviews
Good rooms, a very good service from the hosts. They took special care for the diversity of needs given our big group that stayed there. There was a bonfire arranged along with a variety of snacks when we requested for it. The food provided was also very fresh and good on variety. There was in interesting spice garden tour along with. Please have a....Read More
We had a glade and a bend in the nearby stream all to ourselves. That's the memory I have embedded in my mind about this magical place. Yes whatever people have said about the food is right. We had some great pandikadi here. Made on special request. There were lots of places to curl up with a book. Or stretch your feet if you prefer that. And activ....Read More

The hotel is located in a kind of remote area. Hospitality of The Jade is something to remember, they accommodated us in such a way, that it was a perfect home stay. Good, homely food. Rooms are neat and clean.
The Jade is not a hotel. It's a homestay. It is conveniently located at lovely place near Nagarhole. The host is very warm and lovely family. Rooms meet all your basic requirements. You can go round their coffee estate and enjoy all types of fruits. Nagarhole national park is very nearby. Food is excellent and you can never forget the warmth of th....Read More
It is basically a home stay. Although rooms may be bit average, but people are very hospitable. Surrounding is good, food which is mostly concern for the people visiting from North, but surprisingly we were awed with the food which we were served here. I can stay for 2 nights.
Our time at the hotel has been one of our finest experiences and we shall cherish those memories for a long time. We chose the location for our family outing as we had a pleasant experience in the past about 6 years ago. The quality of service extended by the efficient staff is unmatched with any other places we have been and most importantly we en....Read More
Food was awesome, will have to plan stay one more time to enjoy food. The view was mind-blowing surrounded by coffee plantations. Hosts were very helpful and the home stay is 300km from Bangalore airport, which takes 10-12 hours by road and the route is via forest area.
If any one plans to visit Kutta, make sure you you stay at 'The Jade'. Its a home stay and I bet you never regret staying there. Their service and hospitality is outstanding. The food is so yummy. Location of the home stay is what makes it unique, its surrounded by coffee plantations and Brahmagiri hills. The best season to visit is post monsoon. I....Read More

Nature, nature and only Nature. Excellent place to relax, share quality time with family. Great place to hide yourself from pollution, noise, traffic and tension. We are sure we will visit The Jade again and spend more relaxing moments. One should spend three days for relaxation and comfortable sightseeing.
Coorg is one of the best destinations India. I had a beautiful experience in staying at this resort. The hospitality was just awesome. This resort lies just about 5kms from kerala border. Mr. Kabir and Mrs.Megha will give you a perfect plan to enjoy your trip. My suggestion to the tourist is start your coorg trip from south coorg, stay in this resort for 2 days so that you can cover many places after that you can drive towards north coorg and can see more paces on the drive itself and reach mysore by evening. You get the best homemade food in this resort. We enjoyed a lot. Infact i can say i celebrated my best birthday in coorg. On of the sweetest memories in my life. Hi Megha and Kabir please continue in giving this kind of a service. Hope to visit your place soon.
Stayed here little time back. We went from Bangalore with the 2 kids and parents. This is southern part of coorg, we have visited Pookdu lake and Thirunelli temple also. The hosts were very helpful, from the time of booking. Location and ambience is liked by everyone, so we cancelled our plan to go to Madikeri and spend the whole time here. (We have visited Madikeri last time anyway).
We went to Jade last month and since then I had been wanting to write about my experience. As a newly married couple, we went for our honeymoon and stayed there for 4 days. If you really need a relaxing pleasure trip, Jade is the best place to go! We booked there after searching a number of places in internet and it was really worth every bit of it. Kabhir and Megha are lovely people and more than anything, they were like friends than hosts. You can approach them at any time with any help. It was way different and way better from staying in a hotel where you just forget about your stay and just take away with you the memories of the places you visited. But here you will surely remember the staying experience. Megha is an awesome cook and I even got the recipe of couple of her dishes from her. You do not have to order food like in a hotel (if you want, you can) and every time we did not know what we are going to have for the next meal and we liked the surprise of it. You must try out her date cookie.. It was yummmmmy!! (Kabhir said they are expert non-veg cooks so I\'m sure you non-vegetarians will surely have a great food if you go there!) We had gained 2 kgs (in 4 days!!) when we came back. One thing I should not miss to mention is their river at the back of Jade. It is a private river with clear water and mild current and you can spend hours there without having to bother about anyone intruding your privacy. We had a lovely time taking long walks around the estate, lazying in the hammock in the evenings with a book, having guava fruits out of the tree, having piping hot and truly sumptuous food for every meal and the list goes on! Jade is totally out of the commercial part of Coorg so you will have a pollution-free, noise-free atmosphere during your stay. There are a lot of home stays in Coorg but I am not sure all of them provide you with the friendly hospitality that you get in Jade. We are planning for one more trip next year!!
This was our first experience in a homestay so were a little skeptical as to what to expect. However as soon as we reached Jade, it was love at first sight... The location is excellent, surrounded by greenery and nestled within the Brahmagiri hills. The rooms are clean and well maintained. This place has a charm of its own. Kabir and Megha are great hosts who always made us feel at home. There are lot of places to see around and Kabir was a great help with the roadmaps to these places. In fact we kept calling him for directions once we were out site seeing and he was happy to help us. Aunty ( Kabirs mom) cooks wonderful food and we got a good taste of the coorg cuisine. All in all, it was a wonderful trip and if we were to go there again, we would not think of any other place than Jade.
