One of the most vibrant zoological parks in India, the Jaipur Zoo is situated close to the Ram Niwas gardens, set amidst verdant landscapes. It is also the biggest crocodile breeding center in the country and houses a few rare and endangered species of flora and fauna. The unique feature of the Zoo is that it is divided into two portions, the animal Zoo and the Bird Zoo that also showcases the reptiles. It is open on all days except Tuesdays from 9 am to 5 pm.

"Good place for kids"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted 3 months ago
Nice place with a diversity of plants and animals. Easy to spot each and every animals in its place, although not so big. But still a good place for kids. It has different types of plants and a nice collection of wild life, although this zoo has small area in comparison of the other zoo in country. As per quantity of the wide range of wildlife it has it must have a bigger area.

We have been to Jaipur zoo in Feb 2015, nice collection of animals as well as rarest rare plants and birds. Kids just loved it, it's not a big place though looks like more of pet animals but for kids its fun and recommended family visit.

"Best for child entertainment"

  • 6.0/7

Very good collection of wild animals, recommended visit with children. The birds section contains attractive birds and reptiles. The monkeys are also very active and making a charm in child's face. Some of the animals are missing when I visited in last time around 2-5 years before.

"Well maintained zoo"

  • 5.0/7

It's a lovely pleasant Sunday so visited the zoo. Mostly all well known animals are there, zoo is clean, neat and the security was also tight, so nobody can harm animals. My 2 years son was so thrilled and happy to see a white tiger there. I highly recommended to go once here if u have kids.

"Biggest and most beautiful Zoo"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Nov 16, 2015
The Jaipur Zoo is the biggest and the most beautiful Zoo. It has two sections as Animals and Birds. It's located at the city center which enhances its beauty. It is surrounded by the historical places and zoo, has all the attraction which can be good for youngsters as well as kids. I recommend to visit this place if you visit Jaipur.

"Children's Paradise"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Nov 5, 2015
Found it quite a nice day out for children. Avoid going in Summers as the weather does not permit much freedom. All normally found animals present. Nothing extraordinary to boast about. The road crossing to cross over to the birds section is still a mess and is a problem that needs to be looked into. Overall a decent trip for children and something that can be visited if you have spare time after visiting Albert Hall Museum.

It's good to spend some time here with friends. If there are some more animals available it would be more better. And the area wise it is quite and peaceful, which is enjoyable.

I visited there in winter, it is good place to visit when you want to see animal in real and pleasant place. There are lots of things to see. Mostly you come with your family and your enjoyment will increase specially when you see children's face. I visited first time zoo in Delhi after that here, I'm requesting all to see zoo once time in life.
