Jaipur food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Food as always is very good and the traditional cousine is still maintained in most of the rajasthani hotels. Chawkidhani is good but very crowded but worth a visit. Old monuments are maintained which still speak for the granduer of the past. The city palace and the forts are a must visit and so is the hawamahal and other places. As far as shopping is concerned three markets-- Jawahar market Johrebazar and bapu market are worth visiting if you want to buy real rajasthani stuff. MI road market is the hep market and people trong the market in the evening. LMB (laxmi mishtan bhandar) is a place where you get very good rajasthani vegitarian food. Not to miss-- Rawat kachori joint for the famous pyaz ki kachori and good sweets. There are good temple of Lord Ganesha and Panch Mukhi Hanuman ji and the Birla mandir worth a visit.

Hotel Review of Arya Niwas
Arya Niwas offers excellent value for money for the discerning traveller. An old residential haveli converted into a hotel, the food is healthy, and delicious. The staff does take effort to help you and make your stay confortable, however, sometimes service can be impersonal. A beautiful lawn, yoga classes, a nicely stocked library and ample information about happenings in the city are provided in addition to car hire, currency exchange and other services. USP of this resort is it 'homely' atmosphere....

Hotel Review of Arya Niwas
The best part about the resort is the ease of doing an online booking. I just spoke to the front desk once and they gave me an email id to confirm my reservations. Following which they had people calling you to reconfirm your booking. For a budget resort this is great. The stay was pleasant. The resort is very good for bag packers looking to have a comfortable stay. The amenities in the room are good, the rooms and bathrooms...

Hotel Review of Arya Niwas
At first a disappointment because of the location of the room, which opened into a corridor , though the website had promised that "all rooms open onto verandahs"..the room was small but neat and clean, so was the loo. Being an architect, found quite a few flaws in planning-the terraces are wasted- but the amazing service and the brilliant food compensates for everything else...and its very homely.so much so that we extended our stay by a day, and it didnt...
