Jaipur food, sight-seeing and shopping options
My Favourite eating joint was the Hotel in the Jaigarh fort. Surprisingly, every person that I spoke to informed me that the place was damn expensive and simply not worth going to. Not only was it economical, the food was lip smacking! Don't miss it!

Hotel Review of Chokhi Dhani
Comments: A visit to jaipur is not really complete without chokhi dhani as u get really face to face with the rajasthani culture. the rooms were quite well done with all basic and modern facilites , the food was quite good and different than what u usually get at most places.
Best Experience: The resort was decoratively made up to remind us of a typical rajasthani village except that it was clean. The evening Village that opens 6 to 11 had a plethora of activities for children as well as adults ranging from a hard to believe magic show , camel /elephant rides , ox / horse buggy , a maze / astrology ,various kids games /shooting games , rajasthani music and dances .
Worst Experience: The hardest part was reaching there as there were no signs / directions / mentioned all through out the wasy from the city, even after reaching the resort we were not sure as the Front gate NamePlate was erased. There is no special treatment or any priority given for the hotel guests for the village activities or for the rajasthani food that is served in the village restaurants as there is a long queue.

Hotel Review of Chokhi Dhani
We had been to Chokhi Dhani last month in December. It was a getaway organized by our organisation for celebrating Christmas & New Year. We were a team of around 30 persons coming from all over India, but none from Rajasthan, so it was kinda-new place for all. Chokhi Dhani is a good village resort located in the outskirts of Jaipur that gives the pleasure of experiencing the traditional culture of Rajasthan, but still having all the amenities. The rooms...

Hotel Review of Chokhi Dhani
Chokhi Dhani Well it was a get together of a few colleagues and so we all met at the most common place, Delhi, as guys were coming from all over the country and took a road trip to Chokhi Dhani. We took off from Delhi at 7.30 in the morning of 24th Feb ˇ¦07 and had bookings to stay through the 25th Feb. The good part was that the chill still remained and so we just zipped through the hustle and bustle of...

Hotel Review of Chokhi Dhani
A Colleague had made a reservation for 2 regular rooms for me for the 25th Jan long weekend - but despite that, when i reached there, i was told they didnt have a reservation for me and could only offer a suite room. So i was forced (not having any other hotel reservation) to pay almost 2.5 times what i had budgeted to take 2 suite rooms. The suite rooms are nice (and they better at that price !) but...

Hotel Review of Chokhi Dhani
Over All experience was okie... Nothing GREAT or what i expected. The place was done up well but they have a LOT of scope for improvement. The bathrooms were terrible with the TUB & heath Fossit leaking... This is NOT what you expect from a hot that claims to be a 5* ethnic resort. The FOOD was really bad and OVERPRICED.. Nothing had any taste. There was nothing much to do through the day... But that was a blessing in...
