My visit to Jaisalmer was in search of true colors of Rajasthan. The food, the culture, the living of people I wanted to explore everything. Jaisal Palace Hotel played a really important role in realizing all of these. They had made all the arrangements for the visitors to visit the place, they had there own drivers and cabs. Room service was good. The hotel is designed on the pattern of a Rajasthani heritage. When it comes to serving meals they are a bit slow in this but overall it is a neat-clean and beautiful. If you want to relax and have fun of the Rajasthani dal, baati and churma in the desert then this is the perfect destination for your vacation.

Unfortunately we were booked here by our Tour Operator for a college industrial visit. The hotel looks decent, that's all Everything goes downhill from there. The hotel wash rooms were unclean. The rooms were okay. The pool wasn't functional. The food was horrible. Avoid it.

Awesome 5 star hotel with beautiful interior. Location was best and easy to find, situated in the middle of sightseeing. Room was spacious and feeling like my own room at home. Heavy combo breakfast specially Rajasthani POHA and room service was good. Will visit again Jaisalmer and will stay in the same hotel.

Average hotel located at a narrow lane. View from rooftop is good and fort is visible from rooftop. Food was good with reasonable menu options. Room size is not very big and overall a very small hotel. They organize various excursions also around Jaisalmer.

I visited Jaisalmer with my family in Oct 2014 during festival of Diwali for vacation. Hotel is having all the basic enmities like Ac, heater, television, Wi-Fi, bath soap and shampoo. Staffs were very much co-operative and friendly in nature. You can book this hotel by Goibibo to get 20% to 30% discount. This is the only budget hotel in Jaisalmer having big room with 2 double bed facility so that you have to book only one room for four or five adults. They provide ac car on request with additional charge. They also book desert safari at good price for you and give 10 % discount if book in advance. The desert safari offered by them is superb. Food is average so you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in city. Overall, nice hotel and I will recommend stay in this hotel for my traveller friends.

There was no problem in finding the hotel. There is a shopping mall near the hotel. The staff's behaviour was good. The interior of the hotel was average. The room was clean and well maintained. The amenities like AC and TV were in working condition. The quality of the food was average and they were providing veg as well as non veg food. The overall stay was value for money.

I stayed in this hotel in a non AC room. My overall experience in Rajasthan was excellent. The people of this State are very helpful to the tourists travelling to this destination. The veg food served was excellent. The place is very colourful and a place for enjoyment. The people are very hospitable. The sightseeing spots are wonderful to witness, especially the historical places and forts. The hotel service was very good; cooperative and helpful staff. I had recommended this hotel to them and they also agreed with my observation. All the hotels here are made of golden stone including this hotel. This hotel was situated near the Jaisalmer Fort and behind the main market. The fort is 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The booking was done through online. Mr. Giri Bhatia, who looks after the hotel gave me the account No. where I deposited the amount. He confirmed on receipt of the amount and booking of the rooms through email. This hotel makes all arrangements for vehicles and sightseeing, camel rides other hotels at a very cheap rate. I would prefer availing Thali system where you can get rice, dal, vegetables, and roti for your meals. Non veg food is very costly here. Most of the people prefer veg food here. The non AC rooms had attached bath, neat and clean, double bed, wardrobe, TV, and phone. The restaurant is located on the terrace, even room service was available. The fort can be seen from the balcony of the rooms. The staffs were very helpful. There were no activities available. Lots of activities were seen in the desert fair. I travelled to this place in February 2014 for relaxation with my office colleague.

Jaisal Palace is a good budget hotel in the heart of Jailsamer city. It is very near to the Jaisalmer fort which is the main attraction. The hotel is relatively old hotel, but well-maintained. The rooms are small but well-decorated. Room service was very good and prompt. They readied our complimentary breakfast before 6 in the morning as we requested. Food was average, a bit spicy. This hotel is recommended if you are looking for a budget hotel in Jaisalmer.
