The hotel was located in the centre of the city. The appearance of the hotel was good. I had booked the room online. The overall service of the hotel was good. The destination of the hotel was good. I have any suggestion for this hotel. There were no activities arranged by this hotel.
Hotel Jasvilas is tucked away behind a stuccoed wall alongside a very noisy highway, and yet once you are on the hotel grounds the sounds of the city melt away. The hotel started out as a private home to which the family added beautifully designed additions with balconies leaning out over a lovely turquoise swimming pool and manicured garden. The balustrades are entwined with bougainvillea, the walls are painted with delicate designs and mirrored tile work reminiscent of what you might see in an old Maugham palace. The meals are served poolside (except when the weather doesn't permit, then they are served in the elegant formal dining room complete with dark red Venetian glass chandeliers) and the food is really great, traditional Indian dishes, both vegetarian and options containing chicken or mutton, as well as European comfort food such as spaghetti and my daughter's favourite - crepes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating - you can order meals anytime of day between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm (great for those first couple of days when jet lag turns your internal clock Topsy-turvy. The front office staff seems to be made up mostly of members of the family and their sense of pride in their hotel is palpable, several are fluent in English, German and other languages and they are able to help organise Tours, train travel and even booking taxis for a full day's adventures. My room was spare but immaculate and absolutely quiet, a haven from the excitement of Jaipur.
The hotel is simply amazing place and itself is a beautiful building with a little oasis of a courtyard. The pool is perfect for escaping the midday heat, the rooms were immaculately clean. Service at the hotel is well-judged, managing to balance the professionalism of a small hotel with the friendliness and intimacy of a guest house. The staff were great, and the owners really friendly, so it often felt like I was a guest in a private home, rather than a hotel. It felt awesome to stay there and roam around from the hotel. This place is really amazing guys I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.
I am very happy to stay here with family and the rooms was spacious, very neat. Beds was comfortable, food quality was delicious. Staff are good in responding, delicious food (but over-priced). Hotel amenities are at it's best, prices are high but with available facilities, its compensating it so overall best hotel for me always.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Average hotel to visit when your company have low budget for your travel. Rooms are not of modern type and staff are not so cooperative. One ting to remember, not to loose the room key by any chance or you will be charged 300 Rs penalty because they have godrej locks and they don't have extra key to replace So it was normal day for me.
Out of seven hotels/guest houses I stayed at in India, this was my favourite. Every member of the staff that I had contact with was genuinely friendly. The place has a nice laid back atmosphere and everyone seems . . Happy to be there. My room was nice and clean though the somewhat odd brown/green colour scheme took some getting used to. The buffet dinner by the pool was very good, though clearly toned down for sensitive traveller stomachs. Location was fine. Nothing real close by but the pink city was not far. Complimentary pick-up from the station was a bonus.
Our last day in India need to be relaxed after 10 days of sightseeing. Room service that was taken full advantage of. The food was superb and all delivered within good time. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. They let us check in at 7:30 and organized our taxi to the airport. Overall and wonderful stay!
We had been to Jaipur in the month of December to attend a friends function. The weather, as expected was quite cold. We had read the reviews for this hotel online and decided to give it a chance. Our stay in the hotel was for around 2 nights. The check in was at around noon time and we were guided to our rooms, which were decently big and well maintained, clean. The service was also very friendly. The food quality was excellent, especially the breakfast which had good Indian variety. I enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel. It was a recommended place to visit.
This was the hotel we stayed in during our trip through Rajasthan, an excellent small hotel. Name it and they beat their counterparts in all aspects. Room was luxurious and well decorated. Nice furniture, staff was helpful and ever ready to assist. Food was delicious, got the opportunity to interact with owners and they are really very warmhearted. Overall in this budget, this is the best property in the city .
This was the hotel we stayed in during our trip through Rajasthan. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming in nature. The front-desk manager is very cordial and helpful. Food was unforgettable. We had our lunch by the pool which was very romantic. You can also have a choice of having it in their dining hall or in the garden area. If you want to escape Jaipur's city hustle this is the best place to do so. Enjoyed completely.
I had a lovely stay here when I stayed in Jaipur for three nights. The staff were always very helpful and happy to answer any questions. The hotel had a partnership with some drivers so taxis could be booked very quickly and reasonable price. The hotel is a beautiful oasis of calm from the busy streets of Jaipur. Food was very good. Must visit.
We stayed in this property in February 2014. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and well-decorated, wooden furniture was very well done. Staff was polite and ever ready to help. Food was excellent. This was our 3rd visit to this property and it was really consistent performance. Highly recommended.
Jasvilas is a small family owned hotel in Jaipur. It is very well managed by Mr. Mahendra Singh and his wife who take personal care of all their guests. The rooms are extremely well appointed and clean. Service of the staff if prompt and courteous.
