I had visited this hotel for personal work with my friends. I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers. All the facility was provided in the room in working condition. The food quality and quantity was good. I would suggest this hotel to improve the room and service. The best part at the hotel was location.

U want to experience the wilderness, stay here instead of a hotel. A trip to corbett is incomplete without it. The experience was awesome, the price being on a higher side according to my budget though. But other options available are not so connected to the forest itself

As you leave from Delhi for the jungles, looking for that breath of fresh air and no traffic zones, you would be surprised to realize how difficult it is, unless you manage to reach out to this beautiful resort camouflaged in the buffer zone of the Corbett wildlife park. To reach JJR you have to be extremely careful of the diversion towards village Dhela at Ramnagar, otherwise you might just find yourself heading to the other side of the jungle because there are no sign boards for JJR unlike thousands of other resorts. The best thing about JJR is the way the resort is well spread out in the buffer area of the jungles with very rustic architecture, gives a - living in the jungle- kind of feel to it. The cottages are simple, yet very warm and cozy, especially the smaller room with twin beds inside. My stay at JJR was a part of the Gourmet Club event that the resort curated with chef Michael Swamy as the host & guide so good food was most definitely the highlight of my stay there. Lip smacking cuisines served with all the love will leave your stomachs and souls satiated. Rati, the general manager, with more than 10 years of experience in managing high end properties in the jungles is full of warmth and stories. She will simply join you over lunch and you could get to hear all her spine chilling experiences. JJR organizes many different kinds of safaris, walks and bullock cart rides for your time there. The safaris will leave you just surprised and amused as to how the jungle lives. And unlike the usual safaris around, the safaris organized by JJR go further deep in the park. The naturalists do their best to give you all the insights and secrets of the jungle that they have witnessed themselves. Enjoy evening walks around the property and don't be surprised if you spot a few deers behind your cottage at night. Sleeping to the quietness of the jungle and waking up to the bird calls, that's the beauty of this place. The swimming pool is way too inviting, and taking a dip with greenery all around is surely a great way to relax. JJR even organizes wildlife documentary screenings at night to make you more acquainted with the life in the jungles. All in all a great place to be. Someone who is ready to shell off some extra money for a great experience away from the city in the lap of the jungles, JJR is the place to be.

The whole idea to visit this place was the cookout with chef Michael Swamy. Hotel's hospitality was warm and home like. Cottages are very spacious and the hotel is spread across a vast area. You will find Langoor, the black faced monkeys inside the property. We were also advised to not step out of the hotel without a staff member as there are wild animals around the Hotel. The food was a mix of Indian and continental and is great in taste and light on stomach. The live tea/coffee counter in the eating area is a beautiful sight. The food, both veg and non-veg is included in the package whereas the alcohol is to be paid for. The hotel being amidst the jungle, you are advised to carry odomos and other basic things that you might require. We were travelling with an infant so we made sure to carry enough of the powdered milk, biscuits and other little things for her to eat. It is advisable to carry some warm clothes as the temperature tends to drop in the evening and early mornings. If you are travelling with a child, dress her up in full sleeves t-shirts, pyjamas and socks to prevent any mosquito bites. Also, apply mosquito repellent at all times. Safaris are not advisable with the kid as you need to maintain silence to spot the wildlife around. Overall a great place to stay and highly recommended.

The overall experience at the hotel was good. The best thing about the hotel was its place. The hotel was conveniently located. We didn’t face problem in locating the hotel. The surrounding of the hotel was good. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The staffs served on time. The room was spacious, neat and clean. All the amenities were functioning well. We arranged the sightseeing by our self. Check in and checkout process was done on time. The hotel provided veg food. Good quality food was provided. The hotel stay was value for money. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers. The hotel didn’t provide any activity. It was a family trip.

Food facility was available there but it was not very good. Rooms were average. Location wise, the hotel was located just opposite to the Jim Corbett Sanctuary but it was situated near about 90 km far from the Nainital. I traveled there with my family before three years. Nothing was available in activities there. They did not organize any sightseeing trip for us. Preferably, I would like to recommend this hotel to those travellers who are travelling to ride a long distance and would like to take a rest before moving ahead to Nainital otherwise, the short distance travellers can directly move on to Nainital.

Easy to identify the Hotel location. Staff members shown good hospitality and provided courtesy services. Room was maintained hygienically and very spacious. Food provided is very nice and it was very delicious. Food charges were included in package. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food available. Hotel arranged activities were missed because of busy schedule. Overall experience is very good and will recommend it for others. Fare is also very affordable. No feedback for improvement as Hotel was managed in good procedure. It was pleasant trip and enjoyed every bit of the stay.

we spent three days in Corbettb Park. It was an enjoyable visit The hospitality was very good, food was excellent but not as good as Shimla. The activities swimming etc were good.We visited the Jum Corbett Park but could not see any tigers rather any wild animal. The resort should organise visits nearby Ranikhet. Not a bad idea to get clearance and do fishing in the river. The amience and lay out is very good. Enjoyed over all Tejindar
