Jubilee Park covers a large area of 237.75 acres and is located in the middle of the city. This park was gifted by the Tata Steel Company to the local populace for the completion of 50 years of establishment of the city in 1958. Jubilee Park, which is also known as the Mughal Garden, has been modelled like the Vrindhavan Garden of Mysore.

The park features colourful fountains, Jayanti Sarovar, Smriti Udyan and Foliage Park. There is also a Nicco Park or the recreational centre in the park, where children can enjoy thrilling rides. The Tata Steel Zoological Park and the Upvan of the Jubilee Park are prominent picnic spots. Moreover, on the birth anniversary of the Shri Jamshedji Tata, the founder of the city, this park is decorated with lights and other items.

Seen this park from Childhood and the meaning and understanding changes with age. During our recent visit found it cool and somewhat not so happy as it looked glamorous earlier. Still it is lifeline of Tata Nagar.

One of best parks in India, I loved it, it's spread over a large area. And the cleanliness level is awesome at this place. The fountain there is the main attraction of the place. One of the bests in India. I loved the place.

This is one of the best place within the Township to relax. It is full of greenery and at evening there is fountain show which seems very soothing and beautiful. This garden is also a good example of efficient utilization of as it is fitted with drip irrigation system.

"Well built and maintained Park"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted Sep 22, 2015
A crowded place to visit in Tatanagar. I have never been a fan of Parks and this does not have special attractions whatsoever to be a crowd magnet. But still, hordes of people can be found here anytime. The cleanliness is something this Park can boast about.

"Can't miss this place"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Jul 21, 2015
Well you can't miss on this park, built on the marks of Brindavan Garden of Mysore, this place is well maintained by Tata Steel and offers the best place to relax. With winters approaching this would soon turn out to be the most happening picnic spot in town.
