The Junagadh Gate, the prime gateway to Somnath, is one of the major attractions of the Verawal region. Built several centuries ago, this triple gate has a rich history.

Decorated with intricate carvings, this gate was broken by Mahmud Ghazni. He entered the city of Somnath and destroyed and looted all the temples.
