Bannerghatta Nature Camp Reviews
For two days I had resided at this lodge with my family and had an excellent experience. The appearance of this hotel was beautiful. The location of this hotel was easy to travel. The staff and services at this hotel were very friendly and co-operative. There were activities like safari, sightseeing trips and fire camp. The food that we ate at this....Read More
The trip was too good. Thought of making a simple 1 day zoo visit but then made it a weekend stay. The property is really nice to spend a whole day with partial outing and a night stay at the Swiss tent (Rs.2350 + Tax) is truly impressive. The service offered by the staff was outstanding. They were so helpful starting from the security to the ma....Read More
Had been to Bannerghatta Zoo with family and had stayed there in the Jungle lodge. It’s an okay kind of lodge, not so great. Food is average kind, not tasty enough. Even it is quite overpriced. Only thing is that we get a feel of staying in jungle. Kids will love it. Had gone with my daughter and she was quite happy to stay over there. Nature lover....Read More
Hotel was okay. Services were nice. Room was well furnished. Food and drink was fantastic. Activities were excellent. Bandipur National Park as a tourist place is superb place for outing. I went there in November 2013 with my family. It was our comfortable holiday.
overall experience was awesome. though it was hot, but jungles have always fascinated me. and bannerghata nature camp justified my love for nature and safari.
Bannerghatta is a nice place when you dont want to travel far away for a weekend getaway.
It was a Good overall as the location was nice in the midst of the jungle giving one a nice feeling. I would visit some other resort under Jungle Lodges again with my family.
Well this place is nice to be visited once , The cottages were ok ,but the food was not that good and suggest the travelers not to eat food at this place . The safari was nice , I really enjoyed the safari here .
This is one good place in Bangalore, Enjoyed watching all kind of animals in one place. The rooms were we stayed at was good but the only thing is that the place is very dusty especially during the afternoon time.

The best part of this place is that it is so close to Bangalore and perfect for a weekend outing. Located midst the thick forest, staying here was a wonderful experience. The surroundings are clean and beautiful with nothing but only nature all around to enjoy. Deers, black bucks walk around the cottages. We stayed in the swiss tent which was nice and clean having all the basic furnishings required. There are hammocks all over the place which helps in lazying around just enjoying nature and hearing the sounds of rustling leaves, birds and animals. The package which cost us around 1600/- per person was all inclusive of food, safaris through the carnivorous forests, trek in the morning in the herbiverous forests. Food was okay, not bad not great. Only negative of the tent is that the bathroom though attached is located outside the tent, so its a little scary to go out at night. We could hear the tigers roaring at night and as sound travels at night, it appeared that they are very close to our tent. Also there were deer rubbing against the cloth walls of the tents. All in all it was a nice adventure. But for the faint hearted, its better to go for the log huts.
We had been to Bannergatta Nature camp last year with our 8 months old kid. The holiday was fantastic. we stayed in a swiz tent. The staff was very helpful. The food was excellent. lots of greenery. The guided nature walk was the main attraction. the lion and tiger safari was superb. A real value for money I must say. I would love to visit this place again. People staying in Bangalore , try visiting this place and am sure you wont be disappointed.
I set out with my family on a Saturday. Located just about 20 km from Bangalore, perhaps, this is the best and the easiest way for a Bangalorean to experience nature and is definitely a worthwhile weekend break too. This is a perfect option for anyone who would hate travelling/driving longer distances.
The location and the ambience are very good. Vegetarian food is good, non-vegetarian to be avoided.
