About Jungle Lodges Kabini River Lodge
Kabini River Lodge was once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore. Nestled in the southern fringes of Nagarhole National Park, Kabini is elephant country and one gets to see numerous herds at a time. The resort, featuring Colonial architecture, can accommodate 50 persons at a time in either double rooms, cottages or tented cottages. The bend of the river Kabini surrounds the resort on 3 sides. Activities include open jeep safaris into the Park, boat rides on the river, elephant rides, wildlife movie screenings, campfires & barbeque. Right through the year other than monsoon months, a fair variety of wildlife including birds can be sighted.
