One of the best place to live among nature, a true loving place for wild life enthusiasts and adventurers, situated near the river, has the best scenic view. Service provided was excellent, food was great and room's were clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly, had a large pool and plenty of activities to do. They also arrange safari service through boat and also Jeep. Best place for wild life enthusiasts highly recommended.

We stayed for a night in this hotel in Feb 2015 and did two wild life safaris. One in the jeep in jungle and other in boat. Didn't had any citing of tiger or leopard but many other animals were cited and it was very exciting.

All the meals were included in our package and it was super yum breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the three had nice variety of dishes along with south Indian flavour. The room was huge along with a very nice bath.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay in this lodge being wild life enthusiasts and had a good time..

I stayed in the Jungle Resort with my family for a vacation in the month of February. It was convenient to locate the hotel and it was easy to reach too. There were no delay in check-in and checkout process. The interior and exterior appearance of this hotel was good. I ate food in the hotel restaurant and the quality was good but it was bit expensive. The behaviour of the staff in the hotel was good and they were helpful and friendly in the service. The room allotted to us was good and well-maintained, with requires amenities all in working condition. The stay was good and it was worth the pay, and I will recommend to other travellers.

The resort was good. The place of the resort was perfect and also the overall appearance of the resort was good. I am not so satisfied with the food they provided. But the rooms and room service was excellent. Also the guides who took us to the jeep safari and boat safari was very friendly. Except the food, every other thing they provided was perfect and excellent.

Perfect location, right next to the Kabini backwaters and near the Nagarhole National Park. Wild Boar and deer can be found inside the resort itself, as they move about freely in the vicinity of the National Park. Excellent local food is available, cooked with minimum oil. They also have a well stocked bar. The naturalists are extremely knowledgeable. It is a pleasure chatting with the resort manager- Mr. Kunal Sharma- who hails from the famed Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal. He is a published author and joins the guests during the evening bonfire. Conversation with him is a pleasure as he possesses such deep knowledge of the forests of south India. Another really good part is that, the safari is included as part of the charge and thus there are no extra payments. The lodge is lavish but also simple as it does not include TV's to disturb in the room.

I have been to Jungle Lodges Kabini River Lodge in September last week. The weather was serene and while approaching Kabini, the beautiful landscapes beckoned us to a heavenly trip. We went from Mysore via KSRTC bus, got down at hand post and took another private bus to Karapura. The village is 3-4 km from Jungle Lodges Kabini River Lodge and the staffs were so courteous they came to pick us up from the village on calling them about the reservation. We reached their by 2:00 PM and proceeded to the lunch buffet. The accommodation had an old world charm and we felt we were in a different world far from the deafening noise, traffic. We stayed in one of the tents which were far better than what it actually looked like from the outside. The lunch was yummy, vegetarian and non-vegetarian were finger-licking good and then we proceeded to take rest for an hour. The view outside the tent was breath-taking, just on the banks of Kabini River and we proceeded to the jungle safari, we managed to spot a tiger and lots of deer, Malabar squirrel, peacocks. The safari was amazing and we came back for tea and a wild life short film which was informative. We were treated to an extraordinary barbeque buffet and walked back to the tent with our stomachs full. We had an early morning wakeup call and had coffee and embarked on the most interesting aspect of the tour, the speed boat ride on the River Kabini. The staffs were very courteous and most of the other people in the resort opted for a second safari making our group of four only take the boat ride. The views were breath-taking, the guides offered extraordinary details on the wildlife, birds and we were able to spot many deer, squirrels at the edges of the river. There is an amazing island just near the edge of the forest which had a peacock and horn-bills nesting. We came back at around 9 AM after an exhilarating experience and the breakfast buffet was awesome as usual. We packed our bags and left to our next destination with full of beautiful memories. The price of 12000/- per night for two people in a tented accommodation might seem high however it includes jeep safari, boat ride, lunch and dinner buffet. The staff is the most courteous and refused to be tipped even when no was watching. Pack your bags and get yourself treated to one of the most amazing and best jungle safari lodges in India.

The hotel was not conveniently located, the board directions were not available, so faced difficulty in reaching the destination place. The staff service where professional and co-operative. There were no delays in service provided. The interior of the hotel was not up to the mark and value for money. All the amenities were provided, but AC was not working. There was the river view from the hotel room. There was a communication problem between the staff and customers. Hotel tariff was very expensive. Haven't faced any problem or delay at the time of check in and check out.

My stay at this jungle resort one and a half years ago was a memorable one. The hotel had a good appearance. The staff was both friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time, the food was good, the rooms were spacious. Clean and well maintained and check in and check out of the hotel was prompt and smooth. The buffet spread carried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Unlike other hotels. This jungle resort hotel had no amenities like swimming pools or gyms but I had a wonderful time, since this was an adventure trip to watch wildlife as well as to relax.

The overall experience was really wonderful, had a good relaxation in this hotel with my friends. The hotel was conveniently located, the location was very beautiful. The appearance of the hotel from inside to outside was very creative and fully furnished. We booked the hotel through online booking. The staff service was very responsible and supportive. The room was very spacious and clean. The facilities like TV and geyser were functioning well but they did not provide coffee maker. The food was very good, it was in buffet system, they had both veg and non-veg food, and they provided two variety of food in each cuisine. They were no activities like gym, indoor and outdoor game, but they had safari and swimming pool facility. Overall, stay really amazing.
