The staffs at the hotel were very friendly and obedient. The hotel appearance was good. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained with all the amenities at a perfect condition. There was no delay during check-in and check-out. The money spent on the hotel was affordable.
It was 2 years back I travelled to this hotel and the hotel was superb. It was located near to the city and it was near to the Thekkady boating place. We booked in the early morning 3 o'clock and around 10 o'clock we vacated and the service was neither much impressive nor effective. The appearance of the hotel was good and the rooms are spacious and well maintained with amenities like TV and geyser facility in working condition. There was no parking space available and they provide food, but we had it outside. There were activities available and the booking was done directly. The rooms had a naturalistic view and it was worth staying there. It was a relaxing trip with my friends and it was in the month of September 2012.
I stayed for only one night there and it was a nice experience. The rooms are really good and the view behind the hotel is nice. It is a three storied building with two rooms in each floor. Among them the room number one, three and five are jungle facing. The owner, Mr. Rajesh is a friendly person with good behavior and nice attitude.
The room was spacious and very clean with a large bathroom. The room on the top most floor was overlooking the jungle, though we did not see any animals during our stay here, we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast which was complimentary was the best! The best idli, dosas, chutney and sambhar was tasted here and the quantity was a lot and very filling. The hotel is situated very close to the Periyar Tiger Sanctuary - walking distance to the gate, we bought tickets to enter the gate - after the main gate, one has to take a car to reach the area where we had to buy tickets for the cruise. We did not see any Tigers, some elephants were sighted with the help of our binoculars. Some deer, wild dogs, etc. Were seen. The cruise was a bit of a disappointment. The hotel is also rather well located near some interesting eating places so one has a good choice. I would recommend if you want a comfortable home stay then this is a good place.
Hotel was nice. It was located very near to bus stand. Location was very good. Look wise, it was charming. Staff behaviour was cooperative and professional. I faced no problem during check-in and check-out timing. Booking service was perfect. Services were excellent. Rooms were well maintained and spacious. TV, AC, geyser, everything was there. Rooms were excellent and food was tasty. There was no outdoor activity available. I went there with my husband in the month of March. It was a romantic trip. Thekkady is a wonderful place as tourist destination. I will recommend this hotel for other travellers. Value of money paid.
