Main purpose was to paraglide and celebrate new years eve on 31 Dec 2012
Location of the hotel is amazing. Parking is available, rooms are clean and spacious.
Its a government run hotel so please do not expect great room service and perfection. We were happy that the staff was cooperative. Food is just ok.
Its not a tourist hub so there are not many hotels or restaurants around.
Nearby hotels have a fare of more than 700% compared to this hotel.
Please carry your own booze :).
You can indulge in Paragliding, kayaking, boating, horse riding etc.
View from the hotel and the tariff will overpower all shortcomings of this hotel. Do Visit.

Good. Food was simple. We got a room without a view.

Best Experience: Climate was pleasant, after getting roasted in Delhi and on the way, it was heaven.

Worst Experience: None.

we were two famlies, went there to relax & give ourself some rest in apeaceful atmosphere to freshen ourselves. the hotel was in front of river called naukuchiatal & view a beutiful place & the desk service was very good. the staff there welcome us with folded hands & with a big smile on their faces, it was a good experience so we enjoyed their hospitalty. the rooms we were given were big & good, new beding were their & every thing was in the bathroom, new towels & soap shampoos all things were there. we came their by bus in the night so we took the breakfast in the dinig hall, a good big dinig hall & the service was good & more over stuff we eat was good prepared & very tasty. So we decided to take our lunch & dinner from their as the food was good& the services were quick & fast, our children enjoyed a lot there & the quries we raised were given good reply to expain each & every thing we raised& we were satisfied. so we decvided that whenever we come to that place we will go there & enjoy their hospitality.

Great place to stay because the staff and their manager Mr (Dr)Pandey keep the place people friendly, there is always a smile on the face of the staff and never a no to any request . The rooms are reasonably neat and tidy and the size is good as compared to the regular hotels. The location on the lake side is probably the best in the complete area , you can sit in the verandah of the rooms and be very close to the lake.

Best Experience: We had our own inflatable boat so inflating it and carrying it down to the water was very convenient and easy to manage.

Worst Experience: none.

The Location of the Hotel, built on banks of the Naukuchiatal Lake is awesome. The Rooms are spacious,Clean & comfortable. You can almost touch the waters of the lake from the rear veranda of the room sitting on the reclining chair. The food is o.k.The Asst.Manager who checks you in at the reception counter,is very courteous & helpful.Poor guy had to double up as cook also, & prepared Dinner, Morning Tea& served us.The regular cook & other non executive staff,-like their counterparts in any other Public sector/Govt.undertaking,are arrogant, lazy & do little work.
But overall experience of our Hotel stay was very Good.

NAUKUCHIYATAL : As we chose this destination due to some good feedback and some positive remarks we read in tourist books. We were not let down by our sources.
The destination is quite, soothing, natural no honking, less people silent resort way away from city. I STRICTLY SUGGEST no to NANINITAL. As we visited NAINITAL as our last destination of our 15 day tour, we cursed ourselves why we travel to NAINITAL instead we could have prolonged our stay at NAUKUCHIYATAL. As per my opinion i strictly oppose Nainital as tourist destination. Itís havoc, mayhem at the streets of nainital. Itís reminds u the streets of mumbai with traffic & noise and plenty of pollution

Have a extended stay of u r travel at NAUKUCHIYATAL u will enjoy it.

Best Experience: The destination is quite, soothing, natural no honking, less people silent resort way away from city.

Worst Experience: Booking : Can be done at any KMVN office ( We had a very bad experience at MUMBAI KMVN office as they book a car for our 15 day tour the driver was a nightmare so keep u r vehicle booking option open for others, as these people donít have a control over it) but other bookings u can count on them, they are supportive.
