Stayed for three nights in last week of November 16. Had booked a deluxe room, which was fairly large. Standard room though small is equally good. Check in was a breeze. Service is quite good and staff receptive. Overall cleanliness and lenin quality good. Property is large and located around 4km from Hampi. Complimentary breakfast, choice is limited to bread butter jam and poori bhaji or Upma or idly and tea coffee. Quantity is sumptuous. Lunch-dinner to order is quite good and reasonably priced. It is a property and has drawbacks of being Govt owned. Rooms need fresh coat of paint, curtains and furniture-toilets need repairs. Box type TV with only Kannada channels is there and no coffee/tea maker. Out of order fridge is also kept in the room. Overall experience was peaceful and good. Hotel Tip: This is a single story hotel. If singe or couple standard AC room is okay, no need to spend more for a deluxe room.
I stayed in Arcadia Hotel was comfortable and excellent stay. The stay in the hotel was in the month of June with friends. The location of the hotel was near to the city. The appearance of the hotel was looking good. No delay in check in and checkout process. The service people were good and helpful. The room stay was comfortable spacious, neat and clean with all basic amenities were provided. Activities were available. The stay in the hotel was value for money and can be recommended to other travellers.
Very good hotel, very nice rooms, no more costly compare other hotels. Double and single rooms are good, every things are good for sleep. Nice beds, bathroom with all facilities, this hotel is one to stay at. Services are very good, view and appearance are excellent. Food with many varieties is available. Rooms are large, the food served was quite delicious and hygienic too. Room service is available for 24 hours. Management is very much friendly.
The best part of this hotel is the location. It is located very close to heritage city of Hampi. So travel to the heritage city can be avoided. The food and room service is also good. Not a great food but definitely can be taken without much grumble. The resort has enough parking space for private cars and open area for walks. The layouts are good and it is a budget accommodation. So families that don't want to stay indoors can definitely opt for this budget accommodation.
The location of the hotel was convenient to approach. The hotel had provided a parking facility. The ambiance at the hotel was clean and tidy. The interior and exterior appearance of the hotel was well decorated. The hotel needs to provide a pickup and drop service. The staffs at the hotel were kind and friendly. The check in and checkout procedure was on time. The room which they allotted to me was spacious and clean. All the amenities in the room were in working condition. The hot and cold water facility was provided by the hotel. The laundry service was there at the hotel. The Wi-Fi facility was provided by the hotel. The view from my window was not good. The food which they served to me was good in taste and the price was reasonable. The quality and quantity of food was better. The hotel had not organized any sightseeing trip. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers.
The hotel was located inside the hotel. The service of the hotel was good. The food was nice with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes served. All facilities were provided inside the hotel. There were no activities conducted by the hotel. I had visited this hotel with my family.
We visited Hampi and were advised by the driver to stay in Mayura. The reason, the driver seated was that other private hotels would charge more for same kind of stay. Hence we decided to stay in the hotel. The hotel is very close to the World heritage site, the front office was good. We had a look into the room before confirming. At first look the rooms were good. We booked 2 Air Conditioned executive premium room. As our driver said, the prices were cheap (by 500rs atleast) comparing to the private hotels we inquired for. The restaurant had a food menu that also has continental food. The food provided was good The hotel also arranges for guide service. We went with a guide suggested by our driver. But actually the guide service from the hotel was cheaper by 400 rs. Anyways we had a decent stay and nice travel sightseeing in and around Hampi. The hotel belongs to the Karnataka state tourism and development department. So as expected, can improve a lot in its maintenance. The refrigerator was not working in one of the rooms and there were lots of black ants in one of the room. But when informing it, the staff immediately looked into it and cleaned the place with phenyl. In short, a decent hotel to stay, good restaurant facility (with Indian and continental food), nearby the heritage site.
The stay in Hotel KSTDC Mayura Bhuvaneshwari was comfortable. Trip was in the month of January with my friends and cousins. Location of the hotel was interior of the city. Appearance of the hotel was good. Food serve to me was ok but quality was not good and variety was not up to the mark. Parking facility is available in the hotel. Room allotted to me was spacious and clean. I would like to suggest the hotel management to improve in good service, cleanliness and food quality. I would not like to recommend the hotel for other travelers.
I stayed in a Resort in Hampi in Karnataka, and it was a relaxing holiday with my office staff in February 2014.The resort was conveniently located and easy to locate. The resort was well maintained. Complimentary breakfast and drink was provided. The staffs were very friendly and helpful and room service was good and on time. The hotel rooms were spaciousThe resort had parking facility and conference hall. The resort food was very tasty and excellent, but limited food was available. Overall very comfortable and very good stay.
I went to this hotel with my family for a temple visit in the month of November 2014. Appearance of the hotel was good. Staying in this hotel was good, but not for a vegetarian. No activities were arranged in this hotel. The room allotted to me was spacious and well maintained with basic amenities. A nice garden view we got from this hotel. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and friendly and quick in their services. Numbers of attractive places were nearer to this hotel. This hotel was easily located. I would like to suggest this hotel to keep a separate kitchen for a vegetarian.
KSTDC\'s Mayura Bhuvaneshwari is an ideal choice if you want to get closer to the action. Hospet is a bit too far off for anyone keen on staying in the thick of the Hampi action. This resort is actually in Kamalapura and it is a further 4 kms to Hampi Bazaar but a much better bet than the accommodation options in the Bazaar area. There are more pluses than minuses...so we were quite satisfied with our experience and recommend Mayura Bhuvaneshwari.
Food was very OK. For Rs.100/- I guess the lunch buffet is fine. Location is pretty good to see all the places and the reception guy takes care of arranging the taxi or auto as you like including the guide. Overall I would recommend this place. For Rs.3000/- the presidential suite was well worth the price.
The following are the shortcomings 1.The hotel does not accept credit card mode of payment. In present days we do not carry much cash this is a major inconvienience 2.The booked price range of the Hotel room, we had to change because it was not well ventilated and was smelling foul of dead rodent. However the changed& realloted room was quite good, though bit expensive.
The Overall experience was Good as our expectation was limited from this hotel as it was govt run hotel
The hotel was good and enjoyed a lot. I travelled to this hotel by train and I did not face any difficulties in finding it. The hotel is located in a convenient place but the maintenance was not so good. The tariff which I paid was one thousand eight hundred. The staff at the hotel were good and friendly in behaviour. The room allotted to me was good and spacious with all the amenities in proper working condition. The foods were good and delicious in taste with different varieties and it was economical. They arranged sightseeing trip but we arranged by ourselves. There was no delay during sign in and sign out process. My suggestion is to improve with the maintenance in room mostly.
