Been on a romantic trip, couldn't ask more from this beautiful location. I liked the courteous staff, clean rooms, and tasty food. There was the power failure, and no hot water, but that is trivial to what the rooms provide. It has a beautiful sit-out and garden which provides you with the great view above 4000 meters above sea level.

Hi all again let me give a prompt review on one of the closest weekend destination from Bangalore Nandi hills is located within 40kms approx from Bangalore which could be reached easily on a tow or a four wheeler in less than 2hrs from any part of the city and. KSTDC Mayura Pine Top is one of the best and the affordable also secure way to spend a romantic night at hill top. The Hotel has just 3 rooms to cater the tourist's need and they don't have online or phone booking available we just went on a day's trip but the weather was so romantic we decided to spend a night there and were skeptical about getting the room. On inquiry luckily 2 rooms were available to choose from and we selected the middle one the rooms are pretty well maintained with a toilet and bathroom attached with geezer for hot water and a western style commode. Though bed sheets were little dirty on the bed when complained they immediately changed it food was good too in the restaurant and they serve it to the rooms as well. Best part was the view from the wide window of the room the hotel is located at the highest peak and drop of the hill which gives you an ultimate view of the country side and the city lights at night. Early morning all will be covered with thick fog with no visibility beyond 30 meters (approx). I would say the service was just good for the money paid 600/- INR and the staff are quite friendly and they know how to respect the guest's. Totally the trip was very enjoyable and every penny worth for the money and time spent. Hay bangaloreons if you are looking for a weekend getaway just take your ride and zoom in hear and chill out Warning: be aware of the monkeys don't carry eatables in a polythene carry bags they will snatch them away from your hand. That is rally a scary one Humble request: please do not litter. Conserve nature avoid polythene carry bags and cups as much as possible
It was really very nice. We didn't book the room in advance, directly went there and got the room. The room and washroom were good. Hot water is available.
The fact that you\'re almost 5000 feet above sea level is inviting enough (though from Bangalore it\'s just 2000 feet above). It does provide its own \'high\' given that Bangalore seems to be losing its \'higher altitude\' attitude rapidly to pollution. The walk around the place on a non-holiday day is marvellous. The road and the climb is comfortable enugh to make it a great bicycle ride if you are game, albeit with a few regular stops to watch the receeding plains. (Pity I don\'t recall the exact time I was there. It must have been July, given the fine spray of rain that brought in a quick chill).
Comfortable to locate the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Appearance was good. Food was nothing to sing about and it was just normal. The room was okay. No check-in or check-out problems, the government takes care of it. No extra activities in the hotel like pool, gym etc. Didn't book in advance and went there directly. The amount paid was reasonable. No sightseeing or any other extras. The view from the room is really superb. It is the only hotel in Nandi Hills.
