Kadiri temple, situated around 19 km away from Surathkal, lies at the base of the Kadiri Hill. This 17th century temple is dedicated to Lord Manjunatha Swamy. The temple has beautiful bronze figures of Buddha that date back to the 10th century and 11th century. A mutt, known as ‘Jogimutt’, was built by King Kundavarma Bhupendra. There are number of stone caves near the temple, which are known as the ‘Caves of the Pandavas’. The temple can be reached by buses available from the Nehru Maidana Bus Stand.
