Given the fact that Kalimpong is small place, i think it is nice Hotel. It is not a Resort, it is Hotel, so you shoul limit your expectation as per the hotel. Great food, really great food. They will make what ever you ask them. I asked them to make Dal Fry, Bhindi, steamed rice, and nice chapati. And ofcourse peanut masala. Overall, it is good place to stay.

As we sat on the burma teak sofas of yester years in silver oak bar,a connundrum strike me;it could be a time capsule of British era nested in hue of orange green of eastern himalayays.Evening came with a thud of rain and we find our self in the company of some european ambassy delegation.ALA HEMINGWAY...

Great place to relax and enjoy delicious food amid really scenic views right from your hotel window.

Best Experience: The best thing was just to spend time in the hotel lawn just outside the main door with beautiful landscaping views of the Kanchenjunga

I visited this place with my family in June 2011. Hotel from outside looks good but not worth. The rooms has very old furniture and old bathroom you may land up in killing spiders and other insects in your room whole night . Sofa was very dirty enclosed picture. But in kalimpong you do not have choice of other good hotels so they take charge more price and bad maintenance.Food is OK . Room service is slow . Rooms are big enough. Please take hill view rooms.

Worst Experience: The rooms has very old furniture and old bathroom you may land up in killing spiders and other insects in your room whole night . Sofa was very dirty enclosed picture.

well, our stay was confortable in the Hotel and the artichectural work of the hotel building and the beautiful garden maintained by the hotel owner was awesome. We were fortunate enough to get the garden view room the scenery was magnificent. The rooms needs some more attention like the present climate of kalimpong in june-july demands AC rooms. Also, the bathroom were not proper as shower was not working, exhaust fan was missing. Also the telephone was not working properly. res t of the facilities were satisfactory.

Best Experience: Well, the Garden view from my room was spectacular. The hotels has lady attendents specially the local ladies and they were very friendly. Even the waiters in the reataurant were also very helpful and provided best hospitality. The best thing I like was that they were open to our demands like Breakfast service in our rooms. Flexible timings of Breakfast & dinner. Even , the bartender was helpful enough to provide your favourite drink in your room itself. The hotel is situated alof from the main market area and you can relax with your family in the garden as well as sitting by your window side and cherishing the beaty of kalimpong.

Worst Experience: Well, the worst experience was of course the room's bathroom as shower was not working, telephone was also out of order and for calling the attendents we had to ruch to the reception for raising our demands.Exhaust fan and a ceiling fan is must to make the room acceptable for the visitors. We also missed the in house entertainment faciities which I think ust be there in such type of resorts.
