I was there to spend my New Years. Reached on 29th Night after a long drive from New Delhi. I was provided a nice cozy room. In the morning I got a call from the reception asking me to come to the balcony. To my surprise it was snowing. the experience and the view early morning was just mesmerising. Because it was snowing for more than 36 hours so we were stuck within the room mostly. This ways we used everything they had to offer in service. The food was simply the best.
It was the first day of our snowy trip to Manali. There was too much snow all around and reaching the hotel itself was quite a task as the hotel is somewhat higher from mall road. Overall our stay was perfectly organised by our hotel staff. There are some very bad experience face with our tour package operator who doesn't help us in such tough condition. Instead of tour operator, the hotel staff supports us very well and they manage everything for us. They provided hot water when the electricity supply was not working, when we visited Manali since 4 to 5 days. The Manager & rest all hotel staff co-operate such like a family members. I will personally advice to each & every visitor who visit Manali any time, please give a chance to this hotel to provide a superb accommodation. Mr. Thakur Ji, who specially present at the time when nobody is there in entire site of the hotel (other hotel members) he stand with us and giving all the amenities without asking anything by Hotel Kannada. Same like Thakur ji, his staff is also superb & familiar, specially Mr. Devendra, who giving us superb service. Last but not least, Hotel Kalpana Manali is a superb place to stay in any condition in Manali.

The hotel Kalpana was exceptional giving me the good time support with extremely superb service, even thought we are not able to reach the destination due to bad weather & heavy snow fall but the entire staff Co-ordinate with us like a family members. They had provide good food with oriented present service. The concern person Mr. Thakurji, who is attend the all time with us to check any kind of inconvenience. He always guide us a proper way to enjoy our trip even in tough situation. He and his all staff behaviour was extreme superb, specially Mr. Devender, whom I will never forget. He is providing us everything whatever in his hand. When we visit Manala hotel Kalpana, before our reach it heated by storm or heavy snow fall with rain, due to that every where the electric poll was broken and electricity supply not connect for 4 to 5 days. But Thakurji & his team provide us everything whatever they can. I will advice each & every tourist to any time visit Manali just try to stay with Hotel Kalpana. A very good location with very good food in there own restaurant. I will definitely stay again there whenever visit Manali. They had provide everything whatever they can. At last but not least, my hearty thanks to Thakurji and his extreme superb entire team to support me in that kind of situation.
I, along with my brother went to Manali with our families. The experience was really great in Hotel Kalpana. They have send vehicle to the bus stand immediately after we reach Manali. From that moment, they were really good in terms of their service. The rooms were good. The view from the room is beautiful with snow filled mountains. The room painting was done recently I think and the color was little bit coming out of the walls which made the room little bit dusty sometime. To my surprise, the family room I've booked was having two separate rooms so that my kids slept in the second room which is almost as big as the main room with a king size cot in it. The food quality was really good. They were very cooperative and prepared south Indian food (As per our request) for the second day. They arranged the vehicles on time for the sight seeing. I think, overall I liked the environment and the hospitality of the people there. The only drawback (May be positive for some) is that, it's location is little bit away from the town so that it's difficult to go out for a shopping in the evening by walk to the Mall Road. But again, it's walkable distance to Hadimba temple or even Old Manali town. Overall, it was a pleasant experience there. I recommend this place for others without a second thought.
I went to Manali some time ago with my husband just after 10 days of my marriage. We plan to stay in Kalpana Hotel. This was located at good location and maintained well. We took our room keys and excited to saw. We feel happy to say fully compatible room with all facility like geyser, heater, TV, phone. Winter at that time we stay there so there is all small but necessary things in room like blankets. We wake up late morning and feel tired our last night travel. There is no disturbance we feel at night, hotel food also very good quality and nice service. This hotel really clean and loaded with all facility, we enjoyed lot at this place.
