Mogli Resort Reviews

Kanha is a beautiful jungle resort, and a stay at Mogli is a great way to complement a visit to the forest. Amidst its own greens, and almost bordering with the core zone, it offers a perfect setting to spend the evenings after the safari, enjoying the cool breeze. The rooms are very spacious with separate sitting area and a dressing area, and are well cleaned. Even though we were visiting just as the season re-opened after monsoons, the rooms did not smell of negligence, and were well-aired. The service is polite and prompt. I had stayed at the same resort on an earlier visit and liked it enough to return.

Best Experience: Just outside the restaurant, there is a nice sitting area, where we spent quite sometime chatting, listening to music and playing cards, all in the freshness of forest air. The wake-up service (to ensure that you don\'t miss the morning safari) is prompt and unfailing. At 5 am, the staff was ready with our nicely packed breakfast baskets, which came in very handy during the safari.

Worst Experience: The one flip-side is, that though the place advertises a swimming pool, I have not been able to use it on either of my visits as it was either undergoing a renovation, or was heavily loaded with treatment chemicals. All in all, it is not a well-maintained pool, and thats a pity. Plus, I was not hugely impressed with the food. It is average, and the option to order A la carte is not available - you have to rely on the buffet, unless you want to go to a nearby dhaba.

we had excellent safari organised by lodgfe during our stay.Early morning wakeup calls at the door followed by tea & coffee just enough to wake up before morning safari. Pleasent setting in lap of Jungle with a big water hole in the middle of camp
