Reaching Kappad is a bit \"Hide-n-seek\" unless you have a guide or patience. But worth the worry it is the best beach I\'ve visited ever.

Nice place to spend time with family. Not much of recreation for children.Rooms are nice. Room service is excellent. Food is good but slightly expensive. Overall nice experience.

Satisfying..The palce is well located but rooms need better upkeep..Restaurant and range of Menu needs to improve.Got Very good potential to be a popular destination.

"Close to beach.. "

The stay at Kappad was very good and my children aged 6 and 8 enjoyed playing in the sea very much.

Best Experience: The accessibility to the beach was very experienced.

Worst Experience: The AC was not working properly.

Resort is good but we are disappointed with the sea. When we visited (24th Oct\'12) the sea was very calm and there were no waves whatsoever. It was more like a huge stagnant waterbody.

About Kappad Beach Resort

Kappad Beach Resort is located right on the Kappad Beach, Calicut, Kerala, where Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498. The beach, locally known as Kappakadavu, is studded with rocks that protrude into the sea and caressed by waves. The sea here is placid and seemingly untouched by history or time. The resort also arranges visits to Beypore where wooden Arabian Dhows or boats are still made. Guests are also given an opportunity to go fishing into the sea on traditional boats. Offering cottages as well as rooms, the resort is a place where one can combine relaxation with Ayurveda therapies.

Rooms & Amenities

The resort offers accommodation in 4 double storied well-furnished A/c or Non A/c cottages with 4 rooms in each. These cottages named after the various Portuguese explorers who came to India, command sea views and sunsets, especially from the balconies of the upper floor rooms. The rooms are fitted with satellite TV, attached bathroom with 24 hour hot & cold water, private balcony and ISD facility. Other amenities include Ayurvedic packages, cultural shows, boat rides, organised trips, laundry and travel desk. Kappad Beach Resort�s restaurant specialises in the cuisine of Malabar.
