The interior was better than the exterior. The receptionist was provided room quickly and behaved well. The service was provided on time. The room clean and comfortable. I had food in the hotel and that was very tasty. I had breakfast in the morning that was well cooked and freshly cooked. The good parking space and swimming pool were available.

Great property at a breath-taking location

Posted 28 Jan, 2016

I visited Kasaar Jungle Resort with my family, but for a certain business purpose. I totally loved the place. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had an extremely beautiful view of the mountains. Staff was pretty cordial and supportive. I would recommend people to visit this resort and enjoy the huge property and adjoining hills and experience the nearby trekk.

A joyful jungle stay with affordable rates

Posted 10 Aug, 2015

KASAAR JUNGLE RESORT, ALMORA. I had the superb pleasure of visiting The Kasaar Jungle Resort at Almora, Uttarakhand. This two star resort is just ten kilometres from the town of Almora itself and two kilometres off the main road on a hillock. The resort, spread over an area of six acres, is so named because of its close proximity to the Kasaar Devi Temple. It is surrounded by pristine jungle thick with Deodhar, Oak, Pine and Rhododendron trees. The Kasaar Jungle Resort has an ambiance of serenity and relaxed calm. The upward sloping cobbled walk to the resort, the clean fade, the immaculate maintenance of the cottages and the efficient courteous staff make your stay very pleasant indeed and you do want to rate it at least a three star resort. Built in modern style amid natural surroundings, the resort is distinctive in its comforts and services at affordable and flexible rates. The Kasaar Jungle Resort offers twenty four similarly designed cottages, each with a large balcony from where you can view the majestic Himalayan range. The interiors are comfortably spacious and equipped with modern amenities like multi-channel television, telephone, hot and cold running water, laundry service, a doctor on call, ample parking space, rented car facilities and a spa. The multi cuisine restaurant Vishal View serves delicious meals, especially the parathas at breakfast. It is appropriately named as it has broad windows which command an excellent view of the mountains. The unique aspect of the restaurant is the tree which has grown within the restaurant itself. Other restaurants and bars in the area are also an option for those guests who desire to eat elsewhere. The Mohan confectionery opposite the resort has delicious cakes and confectionery. The resort arranges sublime activities like yoga and meditation as well as adventurous sport activities like trekking, rappelling and rock climbing. Bird watching and taking walks down natural trails are also leisurely activities in addition to having indoor games like carom, chess, badminton and evenings of housie. Spice your trip with the exciting visit to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary as it is just a short distance of eight kilometres away from the resort. You can enjoy an elephant ride and view animals like Elephants, Rhino, Deer, Tigers and many species of birds and winged creatures. Princely comforts and lots of fun and excitement at budgetary rates summarize a superb stay at The Kasaar Jungle Resort. The Kasaar Jungle Resort is 127 kilometres away from Pantnagar Airport and can also be arrived at train from Delhi by the Ranikhet Express in about nine hours. Private operators also provide taxis and private buses. It's a great place to visit throughout the year.

Beautiful resort with delicious food

Posted 28 Jan, 2016

During our recent family trip in mid December 2015 to Chaukori Uttarakhand we saw this beautiful place in route and decided to stay here when we will be coming back to Kathgodam. After confirming our booking by email we reached Kasar Jungle Resort and get a warm welcome by Mr. Kuldeep ji. Parking space is good enough. Rooms are spacious with clean attached bathroom. Room service was prompt and delicious food. Kasaar Devi temple is situated just above the hotel from where we saw a magnificent sunset after Kasaar Devi darshan. I certainly suggest this resort as a family vacation destination during trip to Almora and Binsar.

Amazing Resort

Posted 13 Oct, 2017

We visited Binsar in the month of May 2017. That was a family holiday trip. I booked my stay through online. The service staff was humble and whatever I asked that was provided on time. I booked a deluxe room. The Tv was working properly and Marathi channels were available that I had not expected. They interior of the room was good. The wooden flooring and gallery idea I Liked the most. I had dinner and breakfast. I ordered a sandwich but that was not Grilled properly so I told them then they again prepared it properly. The location of the resort was somewhat difficult to reach. They should provide signboard on the way to reach the resort. The area was silent and peaceful. The exterior and interior were very attractive. The reception staff was cooperative and helpful. They have badminton and table tennis games in the resort. We ordered snacks and that was good. We reached the resort by rented vehicle. The parking was not available. I will highly recommend this resort to other travelers. They should improve quality of snacks.
