Kasauli food, sight-seeing and shopping options
We did not venture much out of our own hotel - Hotel Roscommon as that seemed to be the place that most non-residents seemed to come to for lunch and dinner.
You can go for walks along the upper mall road or the lower mall road. The views from these, the quaint little bungalows (estates as the locals call them), the trees, the flowers along the roadside all make up for a heady cocktail. So give up your cars and start walking. Be it early or morning, late afternoon or early evening, just take a stroll down the lower mall road, beyond sunset point - we just enjoyed the whole place... The church in the middle of the town with the sun dial is a must visit.
Shopping is fairly limited to local produce and some amazing fruit wines - just go ahead and taste them and you will end up buying cartons - apple cider, peach, pear, apricot.... the list is endless.

Comments: good very relaxed atmosophrer, one loves to visit again & again....jaccuzi, gym , all the amenities are good
Best Experience: my 4 year kid enjoyed on the swings he got occupied & we felt relaxed...coz our child had some activity to do he did not get bored.
Worst Experience: NONE.

The place to be away from the humdrum of the city life. Perched on a mountain side one can see the view of the surrounding mountains. This was the most peaceful place we have ever been. Rooms were spacious and ambiance was appreciate able. Cleanliness is something which was maintained by the hotel staff. We would sit on the balcony and had our bed tea watching the school children and locals trudge their way....

Kasauli is a small, serene, clean and quiet hill station. It soothes your nerves. Overall it was a very nice stay. I would go as far to say that it is a better option to stay at Kasauli than to be a part of maddening and congested environment in Shimla. Walk on upper mall road was good. Got to see Raj Villlas of Khushwant Singh also there. Monkey Point climb was steep and opens up all your body parts like...

Kasuali is a beatiful place, and the resort is convenient. Good for lazy types wanting luxery, otherwise Alasia Hotel is a better bet. But i have no complaints in the place. Rooms are good, service is so so, food reasonable, weather was BLOODY cold, and i loved it....

nice ,cool place, serene envoirment.good place to stay.kasuli is different from other hill stations as less tourists go over there. You feel close to nature.calm & quite envoirment instills instant peace of mind.no concrete jungle as at other hill stations...
