Kasauli food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Kasauli is an old 17 century town which was not very famous till the tourist hawks discovered it. But the town still offers it original charm with those British buildings & roads. There are very few things to visit at Kasauli. The main attraction here being Anglican Christ Church that is located bang on the mall. A beautiful British building built in a shape of cross amidst chestnut and fir tress. There is also upper and lower mall. This is very small market with not too many shops where the locals still shop unlike all other mall roads where the locals have stopped visiting. You could still taste those original Mommo’s at one of the Tibetan shop. You could find some souvenir made out of this place. Just a walk around this mall is so enjoyable with no vehicles around. There is also a Monkey Point form where you could view river Sutlej and plains of Chandigarh. But it was very cloudy hence we did not visit this place. This happens to be the highest point of Kasauli.

Hotel Review of Kasauli Resorts
Comments: The place to be away from the humdrum of the city life. Perched on a mountain side one can see the view of the surrounding mountains. This was the most peaceful place we have ever been. Rooms were spacious and ambiance was appreciate able. Cleanliness is something which was maintained by the hotel staff. We would sit on the balcony and had our bed tea watching the school children and locals trudge their way.
Best Experience: Best experience was the peace and quiet we enjoyed.
Worst Experience: Nothing.

Hotel Review of Kasauli Resorts
Kasauli is a small, serene, clean and quiet hill station. It soothes your nerves. Overall it was a very nice stay. I would go as far to say that it is a better option to stay at Kasauli than to be a part of maddening and congested environment in Shimla. Walk on upper mall road was good. Got to see Raj Villlas of Khushwant Singh also there. Monkey Point climb was steep and opens up all your body parts like...

we stayed for one night at this resort. still waiting for a comb and fresh glasses. service unreliable. food was inexpensive and nice. nothing fancy tho. everylittle extra was paid for and the staff was anxious to be tipped. they shut the pool table room at 9pm! tip: stock up on smokes. they only sell "phoren" cigs at 120 bucks a pack! haggle for a better deal. we got the room for 2000 bucks. this is the place you go...
