Kashid Beach food, sight-seeing and shopping options
There are no options for eating out except the hawkers on the beach. The market is worth a visit as the fresh fish is a dream come true for all fish lovers. We picked up 6 kgs of fresh prawns for a meager 600 rupees and had them for snacks right through our stay. Murud-Janjira is situated near Kashid. Murud is an old fisherman town with a good beach. Janjira is a famous fort in the middle of the sea near Murud. The tourists can also visit the Nawab's palace, Ganapati Pule temple and the beautiful Birla temple nearby. About ten km from Kashid beach is the Phansad bird sanctuary. You can bike or walk the distance from the place you have put up to the beach. The vendors provide hammocks for relaxation, which they allow you to use only if you purchase something from them (very justified). This is good fun in the evening when everyone walks down to the beach. There is nothing worth buying unless you want to take back fish!

Hotel Review of Prakruti Resorts
Comments: It's truly a wonderful place tucked 150kms from Mumbai. The most harrowing experience we had of travelling through the potholed roads of Alibag to get here was compensated by the peace and beauty of the Resort. It's just so amazingly peaceful that we can only hear the waves of the sea.... We stayed in a Single unit , the price of which we thought was slightly steep....Rs.6,500 for one night....But I can say it was well worth it...
Best Experience: The Resort organises entertainment at dinner, viz: Live Gazal singer or DJ nite which was quiet a surprise...The food is nothing phenomenal but none the less its not bad either.....They have a good variety of 2-3 vegetables, dal , rice salads , desserts and the best part is the constant flow of STEAMING HOT breads viz naans, roomali rotis etc.......
The view from the rooms is wonderful......greennnnery is all one can see....A round around the resort in their golf cart is what one must not miss...:)
They have lovely bunglows for families and groups .....The bunglows appeared to be huge and spacious ....
They provide a coupon to enter into the private beach which is awesome.... No commercial stalls or dirt ....
Worst Experience: Ahhh...nothing except the bad roads that one has to take to reach there.......And yeah maybe the quality of food could be better :)

Hotel Review of Prakruti Resorts
The resort is quite large and accomodation is in Bungalows each with 2 or 3 bedrooms. So it will be nice if you book along with other families whom you are comfortable sharing the bunglow with. Plenty of space. Kids enjoy the swimming pool, the large lawn, swings and slides. Adults can enjoy the comfort of the Kerala spa in the premises. Food is also quite good....

Hotel Review of Prakruti Resorts
We had been to Prakruti for a 1 night stay, but wished we had stayed longer. We had made our bookings from Mumbai itself, and we had a smooth check in on arrival. They give you a refreshing drink, to freshen up the weariness of travel. The room we got on the ground floor was pretty and had a garden view ( though you wont have a sea view ). The food was excellent with lots of choice and though being...

Hotel Review of Prakruti Resorts
Well, like most of you who try to research on a holiday destination on the net, I too did my homework and settled for Prakruti Resorts. I called them from Pune and spoke to Mr, Suresh. I was told to make an advance payment of Rs. 5000/ in Cosmos bank...only then would my stay be confirmed. I did the same with earnest and faxed a copy of the deposit slip and dated to the resort. I was also told that...

Hotel Review of Prakruti Resorts
Since the time I called in to make the booking, the experience has been terrific. The reservtion agent from Nivalink was very cooperative.. the hotel reservsations took my booking and blocked the rooms without taking any confirmation amount. When I did finalize the booking and called 3 days before my trip, the hotel was full but my booking was there and I managed to get the rooms. The resort is very neat and clean and "fresh". the staff was very warm...
