Hotel Review of KMVN Tourist Rest House Trishul
Comments: The best place to experience the view of the gigantic mountains around here is Mahatma Gandhi’s ‘Anasakti Ashram’, the next best location is KMVN Trishul Resort.
KMVN-Trishul is an ideal place for honeymooners (where was this resort when I got married 20 years ago?). The calm location and the snow peak of Trishul in front, you do not need any other activity to spend a week here. The cottages are in a real sense ‘deluxe’. The entire campus is covered in thick greenery of pine. Every room and every cottage offers a good view of ‘Trishul’ and other mountains, the sunrise and the sunset.
Every sunrise and sunset gives you the satisfaction of traveling to this place 2000 km away from your home. The snow-clad mountains getting lit up at every sunset is an experience, which can’t be narrated in words.
Food and the Services – Quality of food is really good. However, as in every hotel of KMVN, the kumaoni hospitality has tight limitations of time. Also the menu doesn’t have a rich variety. Surprisingly, other private resorts outside KMVN are not different from this.

Best Experience: Every sunrise, every sunset – no words to describe this
Worst Experience: No bad experience, except only the limited room services and the time limitations of the kitchen.

KAUSANI : As we reached their by late afternoon, reception and staff was supportive & friendly. Look from back of the dinning area was stunning. As nightfalls u felt sudden change in atmosphere cold takes grip of u. U can see Trishul, Panchachuli ranges from this resort. As for this spectacular natural display u have to get up early or in the afternoon when the sky is clearer u can see the golden snow melting on the peaks....

It was amazing to be at Trishul. The owner was an absolutely awesome host and the facilities offered were outstanding. The meals were included in the room tariff of Rs 900 per head and it ranged from 3-4 choices of cuisine (homemade) in all the 3 meals. The resort also arranges for a bonfire for the residents on the campus and organises treks and adventure sports like rappling and mountain climbing and treks at night.the charge for all the 3 adventure activities is...

Kausani lies 53km north of Almora at an elevation of around 6,000ft above sea level. It's not the height, but the vista that Kausani provides which perhaps draws people for a second dekko -- and the KMVN Tourist rest house is prime property in the scheme of things. It perches at the north-western extremity of Kausani and offers a 180 degree Himalayan spectacle -- almost every peak in the Kumaon mountains, including a few in Garhwal, and beyond. The sight...
