The Kedareshwar temple is located in the south-eastern curve of Kushavarta region of Trimbakeshwar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who presides over here in the form of Kedareshwar Mahadev.
According to the legends, in this spot, Sage Gautama was saved by Lord Shiva from the sin of killing a cow. The architectural structure of this temple is quite similar to the ancient style of the Hindu caves. Two nearby attractions to visit from this place are Kankhala Tirtha and Kanchan Tirtha.
