Hotel Review of Velvett Country Hill Resort & Healing Centre
Comments: Overall it was a very nice place to visit. Layout and separation of rooms is good. Staff was helpful and courteous. Restaurant has a room to improve, it was a bit cramped compared to rest of the resort.
Best Experience: Location is good not too far away from the highway as well not too far. Although the actual view from the room wasnt of any valley.

The overall stay was very refreshing. The resort is very peaceful with no disturbance of any sort in the vicinity. Some rooms here have a big terrace. Rooms are good and well maintained. Since we went on weekdays, we had liberty to choose a room. Being, in monsoon the climate was very good. The resort has a huge landscape, full of greenery, ideal for a nice walk....

What strikes you first is the landscaping of this resort. Very neatly maintained lawns and sprawling ivy make a impressive sight. The drive is very convenient from Mumbai and you can reach it in two hours from Andheri, car-willing. However once you get in the resort, a standard commercial feel ensues. This resort is located on the slopes of Vikas Valley of Khandala. The location was right but the weather was not.(Mid May) It was very hot during days and not too cold during nights. The quality of the food was good and it was worth the wait ( service was slow..) I believe it will be a good choice during monsoons and winter....

Brilliant service, very well maintained place. Nice Gym, Massage parlour, swimming pool. Good jogging track. Rooms right up there with the best. Certainly better than staying at Fariyas....
