"Place is feast for the eyes"

  • 6.50/7

Jiggs is a small village about 10 km from Sringeri, surrounded by natural habitat. The major attraction is Rishyasingara temple. Basically Siva temple. It is said that Adi Sankara came for worship. Being a very beautiful calm temple, it is suitable for meditation. The famous Suriname falls is nearby. It is better to go by auto from Sringeri. The route is gifted with tress and beautiful scenes; and it is surely feast for eyes. Nice temple.

"Very dirty place"

Only the drive from Sringeri to Kigga is worthwhile. The falls is really dirty and no discipline maintained by the local people.
