"The hotel appearance was good"

Posted 13 Dec, 2016

Overall experience was good in the hotel. Allotted room was not neat and clean. Check in and checkout was not done on time. The hotel appearance was good. The hotel was located outside the city. I would suggest this hotel to improve the overall service. I would not recommend this hotel for other travellers.

"Hot water was not provided"

Posted 2 Feb, 2016

The hotel was located at the city. The surrounding of the hotel was good. The service provided by the hotel was ok. The check in and checkout process was quick and easy. The interior and exterior of the hotel were looking good. The room allotted to me was neat and spacious. The hot water facility was not provided. All the amenities at the room were in good working condition. The special view was not seen from my room. The food was not taken from the hotel. The activity was not organized by the hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel to others.

"Good home stay "

Posted 26 Jan, 2016

The stay was good with a different home style decor and ambiance. However, to check into the hotel was a bit difficult. We arrived at around 11. 30 pm and there was no response on the phone number provided. We had to wait for about 40 mins when someone responded and showed us where to stay. There also was some confusion about the booking dates, as the person who received us had a different date than our booking confirmation stated. Thereafter, the behavior of staff was good and they were helpful. Since, we stayed only for a night, we could not explore the surroundings much. It was an ok stay for a night.

"Not a great experience"

Posted 13 Aug, 2015

I stayed there one day the atmosphere and service was too horrible. I was staying with ma family by booking through online. But there was no other guest in the hotel. Its like a very old house and we will feel that we are staying in a ghost house which experienced in movies.

"Admirable old mansion and has great value"

Posted 5 Aug, 2015

Kimansion lives up touts name - it is a admirable old mansion, adequate a few years ago. This abode is a actual quiet abode with a minimum of fuss. Staff are affable and attentive, the apartment are minimalist and clean, and breakfast is simple and sufficient. Great breadth appropriate on the bend of the Old Fort Kochi, aggregate is walk able from here. If you adopt to break in a B&B/homestay appearance place, this is the adaptation for you. Breakfast was bushing and tastes absolutely acceptable (Harish accept and offered us the bounded cuisine which we begin absolutely interesting) Water is not served in the auberge and we accept to ask Harish to buy the bottles for us from outside. We accept been told that this abode ability be angry into a restaurant in approaching and one of the high attic apartment will be adapted into a dorm. You appear and go as you amuse and feel you can use the absolute amplitude (lounge area, kitchen, etc), if and if you wish to.

"No restaurant & parking facility; average stay"

Posted 6 Mar, 2015

Located near the fort Kochi beach. The roads were congested and takes lot of time to reach there. The hotel was located close to the road without any parking area. We had to park the car by the side of the road. The hotel was locked when we reached there. There was only a single staff in the hotel. We had to wait there for some time till he came and opened the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a heritage feel. It actually looks like an old British bungalow. There was no inside restaurant so we had to wander for dinner in the night. I don't recommend it for families.

"Good experience"

Posted 12 Jul, 2012

We reached Kimansion on 3rd March 2012 and stayed in this hotel for 1 day. We booked this via Agoda and hence got a very good discount. it's a wonderful old colonial building. Very near to eat outs and a km walk from the Beach which very beautiful The Room was very Big and very clean.. It was really GOOD. Bathroom was very clean however there was no soap. Thank God we took our stuff..:) (which we always do) !!. Because only one man works there, he tends to keep the front door locked all the time, which was a good idea in terms of security but annoying. Also the breakfast was very basic... ( Bread Toast , Plate of Pineapples and banana. I had to request Omlette and looks like wasnt happy giving, But later He gave. Decent for a day stay. But staying below ( Ground floor) was a little problem as you always hear some noise when people walkinh upstairs and it was very annoying and disturbing while resting. Rest all was good.
