What travellers are saying about this hotel
Value For Money:
People make companies as one says. I would like to start the review with my experience with Thippeswamy (for all practical purposes the one to turn to for everything). We were a group of 38 persons traveling to Hampi with a stay at Kishkinda Resorts. One call to the gentleman specifying the requirements is all I had done. From the moment we were approaching Kishkinda Resorts (late evening at about 2000h) to departing from the resorts the next day in the afternoon, everything was planned in detail and executed to perfection. That includes preparedness of cottages (suites are large enough to accommodate six persons), campfire, group dance, good food, trip to the river to cross over to Hampi, knowledgeable guide at Hampi, arrangement for travel by bus in and around Hampi, delicious breakfast (Upma was very good). We had it all organised immaculately. The hospitality included handling an emergency situation requiring medical attention to one of the traveller. One of the best hosts. Imagine witnessing a bright sunrise amidst greenery - you get it at Kishkinda. Imagine the serene sounds of water flowing - you get it here. Good food, good service (the staff who went cottage to cottage to gather my colleagues). If there was one thing we did not enjoy - is the local Lambadi dance - mellow singing and the singers going around in circles waving their hands, but not for creating a relishing moment. If there is one thing you need to prepare for (which incidentally can be a blessing in disguise) is the absence of mobile network other than that of BSNL. If you wish to be disturbed or if you are affected by nomophobia, do carry a BSNL connection (for the 38 travellers we carried one for handling any emergencies that may arise). If you wish not to be disturbed, you have your entire time with you (and your friends and family or yourself). Did not I say absence of non-BSNL mobile network is a blessing in disguise? Go ahead - take a plunge in the water park, climb up to the reservoir, roll on the lawns, ask for a campfire - Have fun!
On my business trip I visited Hampi. I went there along with my wife in the month of May 2017. I would suggest keeping Airtel network. This is the only issue in the hotel location. We booked the room online. We reached the place by own vehicle. They would charge for cab facility. There are pickup and drop facility. We did not pay for pickup and we had to pay for a drop. The best way to reach the place by boating. Personal vehicles are not allowed. The Front office staff was responding well. They cooperated with us. The Mobile network is the only problem. If they work on it. The hotel will be superb. The service of the hotel was prompt. They gave all service with out any time delay. Bus and railway station is quite far. It is about 4-5 km. The location of the hotel was replaced. There is the garden in the hotel vicinity. But there is no bus station and railway station. The appearance of the hotel was beautiful. The building looks good. The room was well maintained. It was clean and spacious. We had food in the hotel. It was good and tasty. We took both room and restaurant service. There were no other activities. I will suggest this hotel to others also. For improvements they should keep Mobile network. So it will be convenient for us to make business and personal calls.
It was as a very pleasant stay at Kishkinda. It was my first visit to the resort, I even never visited the Kishkinda website before, it was just a casual visit to that place. After visiting the resort I was very must attracted towards the beauty of the location and the maintenance of the resort. Then we decided to stay for a day or two. Then I enquired about the tariff, it was Rs. 2800 per day I felt it was bit expensive. The person at the reception also told that I will get a 20% discount if I book it online. Then I asked for a computer to book it online at the reception hall. They told that the wi-fi is not working. This was my first bad impression on the facility. But any how I made my mind to book the ticket paying cash at counter. The accommodation is good and my kid enjoyed a lot. Coming to facility in the accommodation room there should have been a flat screen TV for a better entertainment in house. And the furniture are the too old. The ambiance would have been much better. Outside gardening and lawns are maintained well. Swimming pool is too good. But at night it is very scary. There would have been better lighting arrangement surrounding the pool. Resort is beautifully located. Coming to the internet/wi-fi connectivity it was a bad experience. As the there is no connectivity to the outside world as we are out of coverage area of mobile towers there should have been a better and fast wi-fi connectivity. And my second bad experience was the food. I had a worst experience with the food. There was no canteen or cafeteria inside the premises of the resort. There should be dinning facility inside the campus with supply of quality food and drinks. Finally I would advise the management to fine tune the facility to have a better experience for the cost we are paying. I would definitely like to visit the resort again if I hear the facilities are improved. Thank you.
It was a vacation trip I traveled to Hampi in the month of December 2016 with my friends. I booked a room at this resort through online in the goibibo. Com website. The resort location was excellent as it was nearby to all the sightseeing places. It was on the outskirts. Auto facility was available and it was convenient. The appearance was excellent with the individual cottages. It was neatly maintained. The front office was excellent with the hospitality. They completed the booking process properly and responded on time. They were informative and guided us very well. They were friendly. We took a cottage and it was excellent with all the common requirements which were maintained well. It was clean and hygienic. It was spacious and had proper ventilation. The ambience was attractive. The washroom was clean. The room service was very good prompt and they were on time. Foods had very good taste and quality. We took both veg and non-veg food items. At that place there was a garden area and water park. It was excellent and was well maintained. Except for bsnl network other networks were not proper. The overall service was excellent and very well fulfilled. Our stay was comfortable so I recommend this resort to all other travelers.
On my holiday trip I visited Hampi. I went there along with my family in the month of May 2017. We booked the room online. We reached there by own vehicle. It was self-driven. There is parking facility and it is free service. The Front office staff was responding well. They guided us on local information. The service of the hotel was prompt. We liked the staff. They were generous. It was normal. We took all kinds of service. The location of the hotel was well placed. It is in the hilly area. Bus stand and railway station are not nearby. It is best to reach the place by private vehicle. The appearance of the hotel was beautiful. Garden is there. Kids liked it. Animals were there. We liked their planning. The room was well maintained. We booked cottage rooms. All amenities were there. It was clean and spacious. We had food in the hotel. It is good and tasty. Food quality and quantity were good. We took both veg and non-veg food. Breakfast was good. We took room service. Others can have food here along with their family. There were other activities like swimming pool and water park is there. Entertainment for children is there. They should keep certain games near the hotel to attract more children. I will suggest this hotel to other travelers also. For improvements more activities for children should be there.
