It was our second wedding anniversary and planned to visit Kodai to surprise my wife. We reached Kodai at 9:00 a.m and was at hotel by 9:15 a.m. Normal check-in time is 12 pm, but still they are flexible enough to allow check-in without charging for additional day. The whole stay itself is a best experience. The Hotel staff are very cooperative. We had booked a deluxe room but deluxe cottage was provided. The Hotel has a beautiful garden with nice flowers and small rose garden very near to reception .It also had a small temple with beautiful statue of Lord Ganesha. You can also get volleyball or table tennis and other indoor games from the front desk. It has its own waterfall, a huge park area, a huge lawn area, just wonderful. This is an excellent hotel for honeymooners and for couple\'s who want spend their time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There was cleanliness everywhere. The food was excellent. Hotel\'s room service was excellent and everthing I asked for like warm water, tea reached to me in time. The Hotel staff also have a cab service to reach the nearest attrations. Hospitality of Kodai International was excellent. Specially the lawn attched to the rooms which gives you access to the Fruit park maintained by Hotel. It is the best hotel to stay in Kodaikanal. My wife still cherishes the kodai days. I recommend this fantastic hotel to everyone.
Hotel location was convenient and peaceful. Appearance was very good. Staff was very helpful and convenience. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. AC,TV, Geyser was working properly. There was a garden view. Food was also nice. We took only vegetarian. Breakfast was complimentary. Food taste and quality was good. Cost was reasonable. It was relaxation trip with friends. Did not notice the activities. No delay in check-in and check-out. Satisfied with the hotel. I would like to recommend to other travellers.
Kodai was a wonderful experience. The hotel was extemely comfi, with good food, great ambience... flip side was the dhobi ghat visible from the standard rooms. the deluxe rooms had great garden view, but a bit cramped if u go with kids.
This hotel was conveniently located. Parking and travel desk facility was available. The hotel has good garden and lawn; the ambiance was good, the hospitality was excellent. I stayed with my family in this hotel; travelled in my own vehicle. The taste of food was excellent; roti and bendi dokia was the best dish served. The rooms were average sized and well maintained with amenities; there was no outside view from the rooms; the hotel room was value for the money paid.
Kodaikanal is a very very good hill station...must visit...and if in Kodai i guess Kodai International is the best place...i really liked the appearance of the hotel...it has its own waterfall, a huge park area, a huge lawn area, just wonderful. the food was really really good. we had taken the kurinji blossoms package for 2 nights in a deluxe double room...we had been there during the diwali holidays and i dint get thru a reservation directly from the hotel...but the bangalore counterpart did its best and i got thru a reservation...we also arranged for a pickup from the kodai Stn (it reaches there early morning 6.00) ...but the driver was there on time and promptly took us to the hotel...it took a little time to check in...seems like some construction or repair or maintanence work was going on in our block coz the room looked like two rooms were joined recently and was smelling of fresh paint, also the room opposite ours was being painted...anyways overall kodai is a must see place, it has lot of site seeing options...the lake is a happening place...u can go in for a bicycle ride, horse ride near the lake or of course a boat ride in the lake...i went for all of them...it was very misty during the time i had been there (in oct) so it got a little difficult to see some the places especially the pillar rock...we waited for 20 mins just to see a hazy glimpse of it. the trek thru the bear shola falls was just lovely (though later i realised how dangerous it was to do that with my 2 year old and without the proper trekking gear - i mean the shoes), Coaker\'s walk was also a lovely experience.
