I have spent 3 days at Kodai resort hotel. The hospitality and view was excellent. It is very near to Kodai lake and local shopping. The staff are very helpful. The balcony, view, ambiance and locations are wonderful. It is worth for every single penny.

This resort location is prime as major viewpoints such as Coakers walk, Lake, Bryant Park are within walking distance. The hotel staff are courteous and cordial. We reached hotel early in the morning and were the first one to start our breakfast (which is served complimentary) and was good. I liked the food here but it's damn spicy (so caution for those who don't like spicy food). We opted rooms which were valley facing and hence were blessed to witness sunrise from our bed itself.

Positive points: Rooms have private balconies and are well lit; to keep mosquitoes away they infuse herbal smoke during evening time; Garden for kids to play.

Areas of Improvement: Food preference needs to be asked beforehand to avoid spicy food landing on your plate.

I would definitely recommend this resort. Good place to stay, helpful staff and very well located. What else do you need. Rooms are like 1BH cottages facing the garden and valley. Indoor activities like carom, TT and chess needs some maintenance but that's fine.

Resorts location really very good, we went in November 2015 with my family. Room size was large and comfortable, and extra porch in room, room was too good, we booked suit cottage. Room service was also good, and food quality was good. Resorts view too good, we recommend this resort for good stay and for enjoy.

It was good place. Food was good. Clean and beautiful place. Service was good. Relaxed place. Hygiene food and place. Good communication with the staff at the place. I would like to recommend to others too. Boating was a good movement for us. Water fall was good. View point was good. We love the whole trip. I like to come again to the place when ever possible.

The place is clean and big but breakfast was really bad with almost no choice.

I was told that the food is complete Kerala style (spicy) as the chef is from Kerala.

Overall, I would not suggest this place to someone!! There are better options in Kodaikanal which can be tried at the same price.

Good resort with cottage type rustic environment, great view and good open place with nature and birds to relax.

With big terrace open balconies, you can spend relaxing time in the sun and rain. This resort being at the edge of a hill has stairs to climb up and down and have the right feel of a hill station.

With Coaker's Walk and Bryant Park just across the road, spend the morning and evening with spectacular view of the valley and the park with mist and enjoy nature at its best.

Walk to the Kodai Lake through the Bryant Park and enjoy cycling, horse riding and boating to your heart's fill. A great place to spend some time relaxing amidst nature.

We stayed at this hotel for 1night and 2day. The location and the ambience of the hotel is really amazing.
Overall hotel: The hotel itself offers lot of activities like campfire in the night, music, lots of greenery and flowers, can spend half a day enjoying the ambience inside the hotel itself.
Location: It is located very near to coaker's walk and lake, so easy to commute.
Food: The breakfast buffet was my favourite, has all different options catering to the interests of majority.
Room: very clean and spacious and good room service.
Price: slightly expensive.

Kodai resort is located close to Kodai Lake, Coaker's Walk and town centre. Property is well maintained and we loved the ambiance. The private terrace gives a nice view. During our stay, it was mostly foggy but on the second day, we got to see the sunrise from our terrace and it was mesmerising (Photo shared).

Rooms are clean and maintained properly. Housekeeping is managed well. Staff is courteous and helping.

Food also is fine. Complementary breakfast spread is decent and filling. Room service was timely. Tasty food too. We were told that even if an item is not there on menu, we can reach out to the Chef, which was a kind gesture.

Travel desk was very helpful. Our sightseeing was very well coordinated. Drivers, especially, were very courteous. Regarding the tour pricing, it is advisable to check and negotiate the rates in advance.

The forest tour is something not to be missed, not for wild animals but for the amazing valley views it offers. We did spot a bison & yes, that was it. Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks, Pine forest and Berijam Lake (inside the forest) also offers beautiful views.

My heart is into photography but the weather this time didn't offer too many opportunities. Kodaikanal, I am coming back in April/May next year and will definitely be staying at the Kodai Resort.
