Kodai resort is our best of one compare to other hotels. We felt it so comfortable. We stayed for two days in Kodai resort. In that place we enjoyed lot because they offered room with hall, two bedrooms, kitchen with dining hall. The rent was very affordable to people and also for us. The food which they gave for us is also good. The price, room, food, place of location everything was so good. These all things are also very affordable for people.

I had booked 4 rooms on 30th March 2014. We had an excellent stay. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious with separate living room and private terrace. I really loved the private terrace which had its entrance from the room and was very unique. The only thing we had a problem with was that we were made to wait for more than an hour for the rooms even after their stipulated check-in timings. But after the check-in everything was excellent. The breakfast was a surprise as it was really tasty and had a lot of variety in it. If you could increase your facilities for indoor/outdoor games and activities it will be a perfect destination for families.

The hotel was located very close to the city. It was a very pleasant place to visit. The front office staff were very friendly and quick to response. The housekeeping staff were also quick to our call. The hotel appearance was very good. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was provided at the hotel. The food was tasty and with affordable in price. The room was very clean and neat. I was able to see the garden from my room. They provided hot water facility at the room. There were no activities at the hotel. I liked this hotel very much.

The hotel was located little far from the city. Car parking facility was provided by the hotel. The interior and exterior of the hotel were very good. The check in and checkout procedure was not delayed. The services of the hotel were good. The staff behavior was friendly and there was quite delay to our request. The room provided to me was neat, clean, spacious and well-maintained. Hot and cold water facility was provided. The hotel had provided varieties of food in the hotel. The quality of the food was good and tasty. The hotel didn't Provide any activities and sightseeing. I was able to see the hill view from my room. I would recommend this hotel to others.

While the resort is at a convenient location, the rooms were damp & stinky! The property has definitely deteriorated in terms of upkeep. Definitely needs an urgent face-lift. The bed linen & bathroom towels were too old & stained! Intermittent supply of hot water was a regular affair.

Good resort to relax. Best place for people who are looking for a calm surrounding away from the city hectic traffic life. Comfortable bed with correct TV position. Hygienic food with a variety of menus to choose bit high cost but acceptable for room dine-in. All under one roof.

We, in order to beat the heat of Hyderabad flew off to Kodaikanal on 25th May 2015. We made separate arrangements to travel by an Innova to Palani (Lord Subramanyam's Temple) and then reached Kodai Resort. The place is well maintained and the check-in was smooth. We had made advance booking and got a reasonable discount.

We were given two cottages with nos. 5 and 12 with a good view of the place. After check-in we ordered food for 6 people and the courteous staff provided the service at a very good speed in spite of the holiday season. The rooms are spacious with clean linen. Washrooms are extremely clean and dry. On our request made earlier in advance we were given cottages with a huge balcony where we could sit and enjoy the morning sun. We could get hot water at 8 pm.

The dinner was tasty and in fact more than sufficient. The rooms are well separated and no noise emanating either. They had a campfire going but we were too tired to join in. The breakfast, next day was complimentary and by the time we reached the place after a walk around the Kodai lake, the food was still flowing. In spite of the holiday their was no shortage or waiting at the restaurant. We had sumptuous breakfast and pushed off for sightseeing.

In short the gardens, the ambiance, the cleanliness, the maintenance gets 10/10. The staff especially are too good. Have travelled around the world many times in India but the staff here are awesome. In case I plan next year again, my choice is Kodai Resort.

We stayed in the resort last week and enjoyed thoroughly. The terraces attached to rooms gives the superb valley view, in evening and morning time you can feel the clouds passing through your hand. Food is good and staff is very helpful. The only problem we faced is their hard hit rule of vacating room by 10, we had bus by 6 pm but they did not consider for 2-3 hour extend.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The look of the hotel is good and it is near to the lake. Rooms were spacious and the staff were polite, and guided us about the places which can be visited. Food at the hotel was good. Visited this hotel in Kodaikanal after our trip to Ooty. Would recommend this place to my friends.
