This hotel is located close to the Kumarakom boat jetty, reaching here was not a problem at all as this place is also quite well known among the locals. True to most of the homestays in Kerala, the rooms here also were furnished with wood. The rooms were clean, well maintained and spacious. The overall ambience was good. The owner has a houseboat himself and so that made my job easier in finding a houseboat ride for reasonable rates. The food was also up to the mark. Overall, a recommended place.
Me and my wife we enjoyed the place very much. It is a heritage 400 years old house. The special thing about the house is you can see most of the furniture and wooden works. I felt very special when I experienced each and every single items there. This heritage house is made of forest wood and its very pleasant and warm to stay inside with latest toilets. Very good owners and staff. Food is very authentic Kerela style. Each and every moment was a different experience there. We enjoyed the Kerala Ayurveda massage, which made us very relaxed.

It was a package trip in the month of March with the family to Munnar. The hotel is located in a convenient location and had a good appearance. The rooms were not up to the expectation, but were neat and had all the facilities and had a great view of a waterfall and the valley. The hotel had a buffet and food was good with lots of variety. Staff were good though service was little slow; the reception was good and had no issues
