Hotel Review of Vedic Village, The
Comments: Very poor. Our room was cleared out before we had checked out and some valuable items were taken from our room and thrown in the rubbish. The hotel manager was at first unhelpful and then abusive towards me. I gather that I am not the first person to experience this. Also the Vedic Village is no longer the quiet tranquil place of two years ago. There is a huge expansion of the resort and the building work is loud and continuous. The village is becoming a huge sprawling suburban estate with traffic jams, cars parked everywhere and constant noise.
Best Experience: The only positive thing about the resort is the food which is of a very good standard.
Worst Experience: The noise from all the building work, the frequent power cuts (6 or 7 a day, every day), the abusive, aggressive management, the awful access roads. Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life.

It was adquate but not excellent. They have a lot of ayurvedic packages which we could...
