The
third beach Ashok is a relatively quiter and calmer beach. Halcyon Castle, one of Kovalam's landmarks, is
located here and is currently empty. A small mosque by the name of Kovalam Jama
Masjid stands on the Ashok beach and right across, on the other side of the
road, is a Ganapati
Temple.

 Kerala to the Islands | | Hello,
My family and I are visiting Kerala for 2 weeks in December.
I don't know if this is a stupid idea...But.....
I would like to visit the small Islands in the Ocean. I have a dream to have a romantic dinner with my wife and watch the sunset over the Ocean, and then have breakfast and watch the sunrise over the Ocean.
What other things must you do if you visit Kerala ?

anybody knows about the backwaters in kovalam,exactly it comes in the end of GV Raja road,besides of Taj Green Cove resort&Uday Samudra,anybody knows the name of this backwater.
