Route from Bangalore to Kovalam.
Hello.
I want to drive from Bangalore to Kovalam. There are a very large number of routes one could take. I would like to hear from folks who have done the same drive, and would appreciate advice on which route is the best from the point of view of quality of the roads, and scenic beauty of the drive.

I am thinking of going to Kerala from the 3rd - 11th of September 2009 staying at the Leela Kempinski:
I wanted to ask about:-
- Weather at this time?
- Excursions I can go on?
- Restaurants near by?
- how much a taxi would be from Trivandrum airport to the hotel?
- can i go on a house boat excursion near the hotel?
