in may 2012 we booked zury kumarokam for 20 people due to lack of rooms they adjusted 8 people in kumarokam lake resorts tats our luck we stayed in best resort for one day.

Best Experience: best view, traditonal look, fine interior.

About Kumarakom Lake Resort

Located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, the resort features a network of canals that cut through the 25-acre waterfront property. The resort also has an outdoor eatery, 250-meter long swimming pool, meditation center, health club and an Ayurvedic Centre. The villas which provide the accommodation have been reassembled using �Tachu Shastra�, the ancient rules and rites of carpentry. While the �Ettukettu� restaurant has its accent on ethnic Kerala cuisine, other options include Vembanad Seafood Bar, a 20-seater Kettuvallam restaurant and Thattukada, The Traditional Tea Shop. The resort provides water sports like banana boat rides, �Kettuvallam� rides, speed boat rides and cruiser rides (for sightseeing). Best season to visit is October to January.

Rooms & Amenities

The resort offers 4 types of villas � Heritage Garden View Villa, Heritage Lake View Villa (both offer private courtyards and sunken baths set in a small open-air garden), Meandering Pool Villa & Meandering Duplex Villa (both these offer access to the swimming pool from the bedroom and feature private sit outs). In addition, it also has two Presidential Suites with attached private swimming pools. Other amenities include travel desk, conference facilities, children�s activity room, internet, laundry, money changer, health club and spa, Liquor license, cable television, doctor on call, and room service. All major credit cards accepted. Pets are not allowed.
