Hotel Review of Kumarakom Lake Resort
Comments: Trust us it really PARADISE ON EARTH, they live up to it ! You have to be there to experience the sheer warmth and hospitality you enjoy ! I will suggest people to stay in their meandering pool villa instaed of any other catagory ! This pool is really hassel free where you have access from your room! VISIT and HAVE FUNFILLED HOLIDAY
Best Experience: we planned for a short stay but our holiday was extended to XXXXXL stay there !
Staffs are very friendly and they make you feel your stay like your own home! What ever you ask for its done with smile!
Worst Experience: ofcourse the worst thing is you dont feel like vacating and comming back from the resort !

My 3 days stay at Kumarakom was very special, coming from Munnar and Periyar my expectations were high. Kumarakom gives you a feeling of a small village that is why you feel very safe even taking a walk around the resort. Kumarakom lake resort at the first look appears very interesting. It was a great experience right from the word go... the welcome was refreshing with fresh never-ending cocunut water... to fresh fruits in the room... the infinity pool...the calmness and beauty of the place. Not to forget the lip smacking kerala cusine...the crab curry flavour is still lingering somewhere... I also liked the massage...slept like a baby after it...it was different..not like the usual pressure point masaages that we know......

I had been to this place from sept 27th -sept 30th 2006.We had a wonderful experience.The rooms were spacious and unique in their own style.My sons 5 and 3 yrs old enjoyed the open to sky bathroom.The pool was very clean & well maintained.Though my son had cold & cough he was always in the pool & it did not aggrevate.Service was superb.Right from reception ,room service ,dining & every walk in the resort. I'm an avid traveller and have visited several exotic locations worldwide. This has undoubtedly been one of my best experiences. We took a 3 night trip to Kerala with 2 kids under 5 years age. We spent 1 night in KLR, 1 night on a houseboat and 1 night in Lake Palace Resort, Alleppey. After KLR, the Alleppey resort was a huge let down. an excellent destination & resort... its truly an experience of being in gods own country. the lake view room was out of the world and the huge open-to-sky bathrooms were just too good - complete with a plunge pool and superior amenities. the only word of caution here is their houseboats! KEEP AWAY as its 5 star prices for 2 star facilities. several private operators like lakes & lagoons offer better boats for almost 40% less. the food can also definitely...
