Worst Experience: My Daughter got hurt we asked for First aid box. They said to wait till tomorrow morning. At last I took her to nearby Taj resort to get firsrt aid.

Overall, its a decent hotel, if you like to stay in the gardens, bushes, etc. I like the way the cottages are designed with the canals underneath some of them OR the swings. It has a decent swimming pool, extremely close to the lake with a good view....

To begin with, it was holidayiq.com which made me decide on waterscapes when I was planning a weekend getaway with my husband. Well, in one word, this hotel is really superb. Both my husband and I agree that it is the best resorts we have ever been to. The destination, Kumarakom, needs no mention now as it is already an acclaimed tourist attraction in God's own country. Waterscapes has been a repeat visit for me so that alone tells you it's a place worth a visit! I'd gone the first time in 2004 and went again in 2008. But I found that apart from the great locale, the staff is a bit sluggish and a few of the facilities (viz the bar which opens out onto the swimming pool, the cleaning of the channels which connect the entire resort) are not being taken care of entirely. Overall a good hotel to spend a holiday, the cottages are built beautifully above the canals, however all cottages are not lake facing, so one has to request a lake facing on, also there should be more activities as there is ample of space to have them....
