Me and my friend we went to Kolad in the month on June. Being the whole and sole planner for my group for any trips, I had decided this place after doing some internet search for river rafting. We left from Mumbai on Saturday morning and we all were very excited and were looking forward for a adventure trip. After series of hiccups (we had a flat tyre half an hour in the journey, we lost on the way to find the resort, no internet connection so no Google and we just going round and round the place ). After asking almost the entire village we reached the place and that was it. The place was so beautiful that we forgot everything. It was worth the efforts. Huge river in the backyard, big ground (where we played almost every game possible on this earth), garma-garam chai and snacks waiting for us, small tent types houses for our stay, amazing food with so many varieties, extremely friendly staff. We did lot of adventure activities there like river rafting, kayaking, flying fox etc. Everybody from my group liked it so much that they telling me to plan the same thing again for this monsoon also. Lets see if we get to go there again. Worth a visit, trust me, you wont regret.

Staying facilities are very bad. lots of insects creeping into tent. not worth the exorbitant charges they are taking from you.

Best Experience: Activities are good.

Worst Experience: Rooms are horrible with thousands of insects and rat moving freely in your tent. no running hot water.

Overall good, kids (simple souls) enjoyed.

Will I go again ?

No !

Best Experience: Good thing :- All the Staff is good and very helpful.
Activities like rafting, Kayaking and other activities like team games etc were very good. Activity guides are very friendly and they go out of the way to ensure you enjoy the activities and feel involved.
Lake is great. Especially the swim after the rafting is heavenly.

Worst Experience: Tents are very poor. No Aircon. Fortunately, in Nov it was quite cool. It is advertised as "Luxury tents". But L of luxury itself is missing. No Hotwater in the room, you have to call for it, the hassle of waiting calling for it and waiting for it is a put off. And how to call for it ? You need to walk, after all you have come for an adventure trip - no extn phones. No T.V., no swimming pool..... would have creepy friends in the night in your bed, as there is no proper doors to the tents. Had a rat come into my room and chewed off an apple kept on the table. So it was a true rough, tough adventure holiday. Enjoy such experiences too. Looking at the amenities, it is definitely over-priced.

The overall experience was up to the expectation as the location is very good and the facilities and amenities which were promised are given and as such there is no real reason to complaint for anything. Overall experience is satisfactory but slightly expensive as compared to other resorts.

Best Experience: Rafting was thrilling experience and this is a special feature of this camp.

Worst Experience: No worst experience but some suggestions for improving the Camp:
1. Dirt Road approachingthe camp should be kept clean as the garbage on the approach road spoils the first expression.
2. Intercoms in the luxary tents are must as after dark it is some what difficult to approach the restaurant, particularly for senior persons.
3. Ssafe deposit vaults in the tents must be sturdy so that the valuables can be kept without any risk.
4. Softdrinks should be provided as it is normal thing for all the family members..from kids to seniors.
