Ladakh (Leh) food, sight-seeing and shopping options
As far as food is concerned, since one has to spend 3 weeks in tents, it is mostly tinned food except when you stay at homes of Ladakhis and get simple but sumptuous dal, rice and vegetables.

Hotel Review of Dragon Hotel
Comments: its a new property of hotel dragon in the name of hotel grand dragon and we stayed there only and always try to book directly and not with the travel agents namely A V TOURS and BONTON travels at delhi. almost every good hotel has their own website for reservations and cancellation. One should not make a hurry - furry program for this place. you at least need a day rest. it is worth seeing place for natural lovers. we enjoyed a lot there. every info is there on various sites regarding leh.
Best Experience: we enjoyed best at hotel grand dragon. stay at leh would not have been so comfortable if not stayed at hotel grand dragon. place to enjoy in nature is nubra's organic retreat camp. good hospitality people and nice ambiance to enjoy.
Worst Experience: do not required to stay at ule for that side of sight seeing. resorts there are not upto the mark. don't ever try to stay at pangong for night stay. its a mess for staying there for the people of indian origin.
