Hotel Review of Agatti Island Beach Resort
Comments: The resort is located on Agatti Island which is stunning.The location is fantastic and it is a perfect beach holiday. We went in off season so all the activities were not on offer. We did scuba diving. The gear, particularly the footwear, needs improvement. The food is unimaginative with not much variety. Otherwise one of the best holidays I have had. The accommodation is basic but comfortable.Staff are friendly. I would strongly recommend a holiday here.
Best Experience: Location is simply unbeatable. You can actually see fish and sea turtles at the pier. The beach is white and soft and clean! The water is turquoise in colour and crystal clear.
Worst Experience: Nothing really bad. Food gets monotonous.

The island location was simply amazing. While the man made aspects and the infrastrcture of the resort are quite nice (nothing near 5 star standards) the natural splendor of the location and the friendly staff, make this a perfect holiday location for a family....

Review on Agatti Island resort would be based on its comparison with our stay at Kadmat Island Resort Resort ------- Beach Resort is just 5 minute walk from the Agatti Airport (only one airport @ Lakshadweep) Resort was well maintained and shady with coconut trees grown all over the hotel surroundings. Rooms & Facilities --------------------- Room was good and clean, well furnished (again compared to Kadmat). Bathroom was not good enough. We were there with our grown up son during his vacations. The resort was not upto our expectations, because: 1. pricy. Not value for money.you will get to stay at an Oberoi or Leela for this price. 2. No television, No internet.It was boring to watch the sea all the time. I was on my honeymoon; I would say that Lakshadweep is the best place for the honeymooners. The resort is very good, don’t except a five star treatment but it is well managed in limited resources. Resort staff is very welcoming and warm. When booking a room at the reosrt, we did it more out of a lack of options. Agatti is the only affordable resort in Lakshadweep - the other at Bangarm is way too expensive. Even at Agatti, the rooms are not the best I've seen for the kind of tariff they have. The rooms are clean. Bathrooms are decent, but they could do with better fittings.
