Hotel Review of Retreat Anand - Lansdowne
Comments: Lansdowne is wonderfull! Just right place to relax amid beautiful nature.Ideal place for short trekks to jungle or bird watching.Jungle retreat has nice location .A little effort and professional approach can make this place best in the town.Road to hotel is a safari road so you can not say it is bad.Saff is local not trained.General maintenence is poor.Family-rooms are big and can accomodate six persons easily.
Best Experience: We had a short (1- 1/2 hour)trekk to tiger caves. They say Leopard roam around jungle so it is really adventurous.Tip-in-top is good place to see sun-rise.As there are very few people it is wonderfull for people who love solace. You can read books amid trees, write poetry or do yoga or just relax in any way.Visit Bula-lake and churches.Trip to Tarkeshwar is temple will be good.
Worst Experience: As such no worst experience. We love travelling and know you can't get everything out of home.It has to add many things to become a Resort in real sense.Hotel management requires improvement. They hardly try anything to please guests. You have to order food in advance to enable them arrange items of your choice.i

Lansdowne is very beautiful, quite and calm place to be on a vacation. I really loved being in the town. Places to stay include the tourist bungalow and blue pine resort. Food at Mayur restaurant and the Zayka is good and can be given a try....

Hotel Review of Retreat Anand - Lansdowne
My last three weekend trips to lansdowne were as good as they get. However, on this trip we unfortunately chose the wrong resort. Anand Retreat is one of the WORST resorts I have ever been to. The resort's restaurant has stinky and stale food. 'Zayka in the main market is an alternative with great food. Fairydale is the first choice of stay and the second is GVMN. No other resort is close to these two in lensdowne. We paid Rs. 1800/night for...

Hotel Review of Retreat Anand - Lansdowne
Retreat Anand is a good place to spend a weekend with your close ones. The resort is 3 kms far from main city Lansdowne. The road that approach to resort is not in good condition, but still it’s a nice road to test your driving skills. Lansdowne is 250 Kms far from Delhi, main cities that come between it are Meerut, Bijnour, Nazibabad and Kotdwar. If you are coming from Delhi, then its good if you leave Delhi by 6...
