I fell love with Laxman Jhula Divine Resort, when I visited this beautiful place. So nice to see Ganga and take bath. So spiritual, I feel so good. I like the hotel and yoga class there. Going for Mountain ride, enjoyed water falls. Most fun I had when, I enjoyed river rafting and Mountain clamp. Â I'm looking forward to go back and really enjoy the spiritual life in Rishikesh. I love you Divine Resort, you can make your holiday like heaven. I love to visit again.
very good experience during the stay, good place to visit, good management. i never feel that we were in hotel it is like home. nice place to stay.
The hotel is located in the main center. It looks very nice and the pictures looked wonderful but it is not fully ready. We stayed in a room in the old wing quite spacious and opened out to a balcony which faces river Ganga which was quite pretty. The bathroom was quite a put off, very small and not well maintained. The fixtures seemed so loose that they would fall and in general not clean. Although we did not expect five star service yet a certain level of service was expected. A couple of times while ordering room service or housekeeping he didn't seem happy to serve and would not get everything together. Also the old wing has no lift. The staff in general didn't seem very friendly except the driver who helped us a little. Their restaurant is average, spa is not good at all as the service is not worth the money you pay. The charge to hire a car is very expensive from the hotel. The travel within can be expensive, you need to really find a good service or else the best thing is to hire a cab throughout the trip from Delhi as you can leave at any point of the day if you desire. The little Buddha Cafe, German bakery and Chotiwala restaurant are few of the restaurants we tried which were quite nice. You don't get any non-veg food around so travel with the mindset of eating veg. For extreme non vegetarians there are chicken soup packets and eggs available in the market to buy and make. When I travel the next time, I will make sure I better plan and have a car with me throughout the journey.
The best thing that I liked about the hotel is location. You get an amazing view of Ganga from almost every room/restaurant and from the terrace. Food is good and there is a small swimming pool also. One can reach the river also from the hotel, halfway by life and the other half by walking on the ramp. Overall, I loved my stay in the hotel.
