I was at Le meridian for the purpose of a 3 day conference organised by ONGC. It was a 3 days program and we had every facilities there. I was with my colleagues and very specifically I had my girlfriend with me as she is also my colleague. We enjoyed a lot. The food especially the desserts after every meal like the ice- creams were awesome. All kinds of daal and paneer was really enjoyable. At the night I and my girlfriend used to go to " the Neru bar ' on the first floor and lavishly enjoyed wines (especially white wine). As a whole each and every item was very much luxurious. I advice everyone if you get a chance do visit this hotel if you really want to have a feeling of heaven on earth.
Purpose of visit was relaxing vacation. Amenities were there, bed were good, TV, bathroom accessories, etc in the room was excellent. Services offered was excellent. Hotel staff was very humble, courteous, timely every things were timely done and arranged. Travelr can expect lots of the good service and lots of fun in the hotel. Excellent property.
Situated at about a 45 minute drive from the Airport, this hotel is at a prime location with Connaught Place (CP) and India Gate, Rajpath being only 1. 5-2 kms (about 10 mins drive). Given an option, try to select rooms above the 15th floor. They have good views of either the city skyline or the view of the India Gate and Rajpath. The rooms have a nice ambiance with a host of amenities and gadgets on offer. Each room gets an iPod dock with FM radio (hope they get updated to support iPhone 5 and above). There is also a locker, mini fridge, a fruit basket and a coffee maker. The bathrooms in particular were very aesthetically appealing and functional. The mattress as well as the pillows were soft and I would rate the sleep quality 5/5. I was quite impressed with the personal service from the staff and they never had a "NO" as an answer to any of my requests. There is complementary wireless internet on offer and it was quite fast. The breakfast spread at "The One" was huge and tasty too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Checking was a breeze and comfortable. The rooms are good and regularly maintained without any compromised. As part of group booking (I guess) there was Australian wine bottle to welcome me, as was a basket of fresh fruits. The stay was uneventful from service point of view. The breakfast spread was good enough; though I felt the chefs were too cautious in making my omelet salty and spicy. Maybe you need to tell them to make them really salty and spicy. The dinner was equally good, though the spread slightly reduced, specially for vegetarians. The lunch (as part of booked hall) was not something worth talking about, though the desserts were quite appealing. They need to really work on the lunch menus. The only possible dent to this experience was the quality of TV channels - all of them had streaks(like old cable connections) and very far from the HD channels which are a norm these days.
The hotel is a classic. I loved the ambiance and services of hotel. It is the best for a perfect weekend with your family, loved one or a business trip. The food was lavish. A treat. Awesome ambiance. 6. Good for partying. 7. Worth the money spent.
