I had visited Lebua Lodge in April this year for a short relaxing trip with my wife. The location of the resort is nice - in the midst of small hills near Amer fort. The rooms were like large sized luxurious tents with all facilities one could hope for. There was also a "not so private" sit out area in front of the room. The resort is a good place if you want to spend some quiet time away from the city. Also you can see a very clear sky in the night and enjoy the stars as it is away from the city . . The food was a bit of a disappointment. While the breakfast spread had quite a bit to offer, it was below average. The juices were canned variety, not something you would expect in such a place. Also the quality of food was not very good. The dinner was also just average with not too many options. The lodge would do well to really work on their food offerings and also maybe add some more activities to their resort. All in all, I will still recommend it for a nice quiet stay.
Though Google does its bit to confuse one about the way to reach this place, one is mesmerized once they reach the resort. Nestled in the foothills of the Aravallis at Amer, this lodge is actually a collection of 40 permanently constructed tents. The construction is wonderful and the bathrooms are an absolute wonder! It even comes with your own patio, which - despite being in the open - ensures complete privacy. The proximity to Amer and Nahargarh forts is also a plus. The hotel service is, however, not good. Neither is the food something to write home about. This is an area they seriously need to work on. Another area is the availability of activities to pursue at the resort. There is absolutely no outdoor activity option at the resort, and it also has no tie-ups with Amer fort and Nahargarh fort of Nahargarh Biological park to conduct Tours. This leaves the arriving tourists to fend for themselves and makes this just a stop-over on the way to Jaipur and not a site to visit by itself. In sum, a nice place to visit, but they need to add more activities and improve the restaurant quality to make it a must-stay on the Jaipur itinerary.
If you are looking for a nearby option from new Delhi for a weekend getaway, this could be your excellent choice Resort is excellent with luxury tents as rooms. Only drawback is the last 1 km of road which leads to the resort Enjoy Camel ride, play cricket, badminton, etc.
Visited the place one month ago. I must say what a awesome place to visit. Firstly the destination. You have to go from a Jungle type area to reach the destination. The entry of hotel is quite good. The way reception area decorated was also good. Swimming pool, food everything was fantastic. And at the end the cottage was superbly made.
This luxury resort has very interestingly designed bathrooms apparently. Which give a peak into your very privy bathroom. Yes & management claims that it is by design and not intentional Clearly some critical glasses of the window were removed which gives clear view into the bathroom. On raising alarm the staff gets white sheets to cover the area. Ruined our stay excitement and happiness.
I had made my booking at Lebua before my marriage and the booking was based on Internet research. I was impressed by their unique concept of Luxury tents, and the comments of other people who had stayed there made me want to stay there. So we planned our Honeymoon stay there. We were blown away to say the least. It was beyond our expectations. The service is phenomenal. The staff is more than helpful. The concept of Private garden for every room is unique and breathtaking. Highly recommended for couples. The level of privacy is very high.
