Just Class Apart !! one of the best hotels I ever stayed in...Visited in winters last year.A very romantic place to be in.Very clean, safe and tranquil beach is alongside the hotel. Rooms, facilities are one of the best and the staff is very helpful..
Our visit to The Leela, Goa this summer was our third trip to Goa in as many years. It has become almost a routine with us. Whenever we feel the need for a short getaway we heed to Goa and come back rejuvenated. We just love the sea and as an Architect, it is a welcome break to sometimes build castles in the ...sand with my daughter. This was our first stay at The Leela and had great expectations of the place and I must say we were not dissapointed with it....it was a truly great experience, well ...almost!! But I must say I would definitely recommend the place to others and also visit again, maybe. There were many areas of the huge 75 acre property that we missed (like the riverside experience). I would also want to try my luck again at their local Las Vegas again!!
The Leela is the best hotel/ resort I ever visited, Leela was nothing but a chance, my family and I were out on a vacation, had initially chosen another hotel for stay at Goa, but after knowing of the wonderful place we shifted as soon as possible. We stayed there in a presidential suite, the suite had everything, you name it and it is there, the rooms were perfect, it was the first time I had slept for 14 hours and 15 minutes at a stretch (now you know how the bed was), we had a warm welcome. The first thing was the golf cart ride to reach our room, the hotel was itself so big that you would need a cart or cycle to commute, with lush green garden(which were nothing but a treat to the eye), a casino, kid entertainment center, cycle rent shop, large pool, and not to forget a beach of its own. The staff there was very pleasant, we were offered to take CD of movies on rent from the reception. The food was a gift to the eyes and the tongue, the safety there is commendable, with full CCTV surveillance, the service/ housekeeping are also very fast. I wish I had know that the hotel had its own beach, there is no question about the privacy. It offers full availability of essential without cost. I would want to visit casino next time. I would advice everyone.
I have visited Leela Goa property with my office colleagues. It was overall good experience. Location is very peaceful. We got warm welcome from the staff. Our package was inclusive of F&B. They have wide variety in breakfast. Only disappointing part in breakfast was - In Omlet, they use ready mix spread. If they make it of pure eggs (Without adding water), the taste will be much better. Rest all dishes were delicious. Room was spacious with all required amenities. Swimming pool, private beach was fun. Overall will recommended to friends & family.
The Leela works on a directly proportionate scale of cost to luxury, so the more you can afford to spend on your room, the better the experience you will have. This particularly goes for the Club rooms (there are just 15 of them inside the 75-acre property) which are situated in their own private compound and have their own pool (five of these suites also have their very own plunge pool). There\'s also a separate dining area that\'s off-limits They have plasma screens, Bose radios and the ambience and decor are very tasteful - dark woods and a good blend of minimilism and luxury. One of these suites faces both the pool, golf course and beach - this is definitely the one to opt for. As far as the overall resort is concerned, it is a haven of green, superbly landscaped surroundings with rooms and suites dotted around the property and either fronting on to lagoons or the golf course and beach. This does mean a bit of walk to the restaurants and the beach, but to counter that the hotel has numerous \'buggies\' that ferry guests around the resort. If you get bored of the beach, there are two pools to splash in and a slightly expensive spa. Finally, this is not where you should come if you want to see the sights and go shopping - this is an ideal location for destressing holiday for when you just want to lie by the pool, walk on the beach and have a lazy holiday.
