My wife and I stayed at the Leela, Udaipur during a long weekend in August. I have to start this review by saying that I was really looking forward to staying at one of the best hotels in India, and I was definitely not disappointed. During our stay we took the speed boat across the lake several times and it was amazing. The luxurious look of the lobby was incredible! I loved it when as you enter, they have someone signing folk songs at the entrance. The restaurants at the hotel were incredible! The views from the hotel were just incredible. The view from Amrud Mahal especially was just awesome. The rooms were fantastic – really modern and yet have a traditional touch. The staff was just so courteous. Loved our stay very much and would happily come back again soon!

Staed at the Leela during a wedding and it was simply amazing. The location is good and the entire property is beautifully built. The food in weddings is normally very average. But here it was really good. The rooms are among the best i have come across.

We stayed at the Leela Palace Udaipur in 2016. The property is beautiful and we had a pretty boat ride to the hotel. We were showered with rose petals and greeted with traditional Indian music upon arrival. The rooms are lavish with state of art amenities and furnishings. The staff was very polite and courteous throughout our stay. The property is centrally located o all Udaipur destinations like the Udaipur Palace, Jagmandir, Taj Lake Palace and the Oberoi Udaivillas.

Leela palace is one of the beautiful monument of India which converted some parts as hotel for maintenance of palace as well giving best service in terms of delicious foods and courtesy of Rajasthan. It's a dream for every one to be part of this great monument of our country . It's a cheap for foreigners but difficult for Indians. It's food & beverages are mainly suitable for continental but difficult for vegetarians. But management is least concerned because they have made their immag internationally. Living in this palace is dream of every one. My daughter was so affectainate that she immediately planned for future to come this place again and again. Beautiful place in night for sitting with warm dinner at the corner of lake give u impetuous impression

I went to Udaipur in the month of November 2016 and made my stay in the Leela Kempinski The - Udaipur. It was my business trip with alone. I would rate the destination as good. I would rate the location as very good transportation is easy from this place. The appearance of the hotel was very good as it is very hygienic. The staff at the reception was good as they are polite and responsive. I booked this room directly at hotel. The house keeping services in the hotel were good because of responsible quick service. The rooms at the hotel were good because of facilities and decoration. The food which was served in the hotel was good, we can have a large menu of items.

Me & my wife celebrated our birthdays at Leela Palace Udaipur and we had a memorable weekend. The ultra-luxury hotel lives upto its name by pampering you in every sense. Approach is from the jetty where a boat from the hotel picks you up. At the entry, traditional Rajasthani songs are played to welcome guests. Our personal concierge, Khushpaal was kind enough to show us to our room and help us with all our requirements. Our birthdays were celebrated on a personal cruise on which they had organised the cake cutting ceremony. The pool at Leela is majestic and the decor and the ambience makes you spend more and more time at that place. Food was delicious - breakfast spread was quite elaborate. The only drawback was that we had to wait 15 mins to be seated during breakfast. Overall, we had a luxurious stay at Leela and I would recommend this place to everyone travelling to Udaipur. Room Tip: Lake facing

Luxury at its Best !

Leela Palace Hotel is one exceptional luxury hotel in India. Even though it becomes very difficult for the staff to take care of every customer especially at the start of the tourist season, the staff took our additional care. We were lucky enough to get a classy room facing the Pichola lake. Staff are very courteous and the in-house dining is awesome. Go for Mughlai and Chinese food. The major entertainment for us was the live music and Rajasthani dance. You can also access the hotel through boating in lake Pichola. It's mind-blowing. Tip: Ask for room with balcony and lake view

It was easy to locate the hotel and the destination was good. The stay in the hotel was good and the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. There was no delay in check-in and checkout. The interior and exterior of the hotel was good. I ate veg food in the hotel and it was good in quality and in taste, and the price was reasonable. There were no activities, which were happening in the hotel. The room allotted to me was nice with all required amenities in working condition but there were no view. Overall, it was value for money and I will recommend this hotel to other travellers.

In hotel Leela, there is different types of room. There is 80 beautiful guested room that I had not ever seen in my life. This room is like a hall where 100 people celebrate party at one time, there is separate swimming pool in this room, spa facility, drink facility and so much. The sightseeing of this hotel is so good, because this hotel is situated nearby lake Pichola which is one of the best lake of Udaipur. My experience in this hotel is so good.
