Another lush green paradise is the Lloyd Botanical Garden that was laid with the aid of Mr. William. He has laid out the garden at the height of 1800 mt. for a botanical garden as the Darjeeling branch of Kolkata’s Royal Botanical gardens. Currently there is a herbarium, Orchid House with over 60 specimens of rare orchids are grown under the sprawling glass house. The Sir John Anderson Rock Garden has numerous sub alpine and alpine plants in their natural habitat.
