Located in the midst of greenary and a small village, it was a beautiful experience. Specially the morning and evening walks around the resort, the only sound you can hear are the birds. Even the ambience was wonderful, with lush green surroundings and rare flowers within the resort compound.

Best Experience: Located very close to one of the National Park gates, could reach there before sunrise on a safari ride and the whole place was covered with light fog and a wonderful weather. Even the rooms are quite spacious and giving a homely ambience.

Worst Experience: Nothing that I can think of.

This beautiful eco-friendly resort tucked away from the National Highway 37 takes you back to the days of the Raj. The place is truly laid-back, and everything happens at a leisurely pace. The Rooms are in two blocks set away from their Main Building and have a lot of character, with wicker furniture and wooden floors.The staff is friendly and efficient. The food in their magnificient dining hall is mostly Indian and very tasty. The resort organised our elephant rides as well as the jeep safaris. The guides they arranged are very knowledgable. We were able to see Rhinos at handshaking distance!! In the evenings they arranged local tribals to perform traditional dances for the guests around a bon-fire. All in all a visit to remember. I would love to go back again!!

Best Experience: The place is run by Manju Barua who is a mine of information, not only on Kaziranga, but most of the North East. He normally joins guests at tea time.He regaled us with anecdotes and stories surrounding Kaziranga. Another pleasant surprise was the presence of the renown TV presenter & author Mark Tully who also shared his experiences with us.

Worst Experience: None. Everything was just great.

I visited the Wild Grass Resort in last week of march 2012.Mr Manju Barua was a great help and gave me an accurate picture of the entire tour right from the fact that widening of the road is in progress, traffic scene in Guwahati and how to get the taxi, approx fares etc. The resort has an old world charm, specially the dining room and the staff is very courteous and polite. The food is very good. We stayed in the Cottage and it was very clean, with very good furnishing, clean bedsheets etc. There were mostly foreigners in the resort, when we visited. They also have a cultural programme in the evening and it was very entertaining. The guests are also invited to be a part of the dance.

Best Experience: The resort has very good guides and each guest is given a guide, who arranges the rides and gives lots of information about the various animals and birds during the rides

excellent environment and service. The food was quite tasty and the rates were very reasonable.

This was one of the best place that i visited. The hotel is located in between the greens,you get more closer to the nature. Rooms are very well maintained and the quality of service was really good. Food was also delicious. There were few games arranged but didn\'t actually take part in many.

Best Experience: The nature around was the best.
